For me i think
ToonUp>Lure>Drop/Trap>Sound I Picked sound last cause its the easiest to train in DDL... on my high toon i picked sound last and it got maxxed first than my other gags |

level 1 trap maxed can kill a level 2! when you get a new level in trap gag it can kill a cog the same level as it in one shot. i agreee with wackyzap, it depends what you want. would you like to attack up to four cogs with a quite powerful gag or would you like to heal friends and stranger toons with toonup gags? would you like to drop something on a cog or lure it so you can heal your friends and be safe a few rounds? it all depends what you want and what you like. |

Also.. If you have a low level lures... TRAP will work well
TRAP HELPS LURE REALLY BIG.. I know theres a thread where you can know if a trap is a bad one or a good one... If your friend used a TNT on a lvl 12 Cog.. And you just used a lvl 1 lure as the $1.. It can work.. Here are the things to see if a trap is good Banana Peel - Its a good one if you see it on the ground before you throw it Rake - ? Marbles - Same as banana peel Quicksand - When the V faces the cog ( i think? ) Trap Door - When the hinges are at the >> side TNT - Same as banana peel |

Also, to see if any lure will hit, if you watch the cogs arms when they're swinging, if you see it reset it will hit.
For me, I choose Sound>Drop>Toon-Up>Lure.

I like this track too.... had TNT coming out of the "old" Brrrgh tasks. Done it many ways (sound then trap or drop) but I max quicker using toon-up then lure then trap then sound. |

I got my tracks in this order:
Toonup-This track takes longer to max than sound so I would get it first for early training. Sound was my second last gag track and it's almost maxed and my Toonup isn't close Lure-I have Trap so I wanted to train up lure before I got trap Sound-Very useful and easy to train so it was one of my last tracks Trap-Easier to train with Toonup |

This is just my opinion, but:
toonup, lure, and sound are all very good to have. You can build a toon without one of them, but I wouldn't recconmend it. When You start training your first gag (sound/toonup), you can choose either one. Sound is useful in buildings/factories, and since it takes 7500xp to get foghorn, it doesnt hurt to start training early. Toonup, however always takes the longest to get xp for (at least for me, anyway), and the sooner you start on it, the better. In the docks, It probably is wisest to start training lure. In mml, train toonup/sound, whichever you didnt pick in ttc. Now in tb, you will have to choose between trap or drop. Honestly, I think drop is slightly more effective. Though trap is more powerful than drop (by ten points maxxed), it has too many downfalls to be useful (carry less gags, requires lure to activate - which wastes turns, etc). |

My opinion:
See, what I did, was get Toon-up, then drop, than sound, than trap. This was my strategy: I got Toon-up, so, if I were to ever need it later, which thank god I picked it becuase boy, did I ever need it!, I could use it to either save toons that can kill the cogs, or the whole group so we can work together. I then got drop, because, until you get to the piano, the gags are always at the max points (well, most of them), and I needed more powerful gags than throw or squirt that I can use to attack. Then, I decided to take it one step further, and wanted to attack all of the cogs. I also wanted to sound along with other toons to be able to do a generally high amount of damage to each cog. It's easy to max. I then picked trap, because I was an idiot. It is very hard to train. I sometimes regret my decision on being lureless so I can't help myself with trap, but I am proud to be lureless, one of the most difficult types of toons who have dreams for soloing things. |
