Brrrgh and Snow?

Why doesn't it snow on the streets of Brrrgh?

And if Donalds Dock has a storm pending (look at the clouds), why isn't it raining or having lightning/thunder in the Bkgrnd?

Weather effects add to the overall theme of a place.... I daresay that in certain playgrounds/streets, you can see the clouds gently rolling by. i think this is a wonderful thing.

Adding snow to the Brrrgh playground was one of the old updates (see? I do learn). And it made a good impact at the time.

On the off chance that these are not rhetorical questions [was that on the SAT? ] -
If it snowed in the Brrrgh streets then maybe there would be something less special about the playground there.

And lightning/storms might be seen by the Disney bots as a bit too dark for toontown.

edit: spelling

It would be fun to see Toontown (the town and its streets) have a night and day timer. How cool would that be? Beautiful glowing lights, reflecting off of the colorful architecture with the moon (an overexaggerated smile on it of course) and bright stars in the sky.

If there was snow on the streets, there would be no cogs. Don;t you think snow would act like a squirt gag? It would be nice to be able to throw snowballs at your fellow toons though. Even if they had to be on your friends list.

Thanks Goose!

I kept telling my husband there was something missing graphic wise in the game but I couldnt put my foot on it. The day and night cycle! No changing weather! I think that would add more realism to the game and make it feel like the game is changing.

Is that people from all round the world play. Unless you had different servers timed to different times, it'd kinda be unfair to condemn the Australians to TT Night time (cause you know that they'd probably make the US coincide with TT Time).

Night/Day effects

I remember AC had night/day in an 8 hour cycle, so it didn't matter what part of the world you were in. Even a 4 hour cycle would be fun - but keep ttcentral always in the daylight.

Not actual time silly hehe. Toontown time, something like 1 hour intervals of night and day. Diablo has a night/day clock, and it's on something like a 15 minute interval. It's very cool stuff

Oh, heh. Yeah, guess DII did have a night/day clock. Was too busy whacking stuff over the head to notice.
