It came from this forum somewhere (sorry, didn't take a note of the author)...

In your install folder, browse to the \bin folder. Copy the "multify.exe" file, and paste it into a new folder.

Copy the *.mf files from your ToonTown install directory to this new folder as well.

From the Command Line, set your current directory to your new folder.

Type in:
multify.exe -x -f (PHASE_xxxxx.mf) <-- no parenheses and replace the filename with the phase you are trying to work with).

You'll get a few new folders extracted out like "audio", "dna", "etc", "maps", and "models", etc. Have fun exploring and be sure you don't overwrite anything back to your toontown install folder.

All this stuff is copyright protected, so don't do anything with the files that can get you into trouble (including publishing the .midi's and MP3s on fansites or personal homepages). It's just here for you to take a look at and wonder about why some of it isn't implemented yet. :/

COPYRIGHT!??!?!?!!?!?!?!? Since when did you have to get legal permission to mod games? You'll never stop me Disney! NEVER! Mwahahahaahhahaha! Ahem. Sorry. Um... Wait. If it is copyright stuff, then some files on this site are illegal! Like that TopCat thing that allows you to download the songs... Hmm... Iiiiiinteresting. I am soooo close to opening those dang *.BAM files! I looked them up on CKNOW.net and it said you need WinAmp. Now that's just bizzare. WinAmp is used to open sound files not models. It brought me to a sight that had plugins for WinAmp. I looked there and sure enough, it said that one of the plugins would allow me to open those *.BAM files. So I downloaded WinAmp, I downloaded the plugin, and I put the plugin in the WinAmp folder and went back into the folder with those *.BAM files in it. I still couldn't open those stupid files! I am going to open some more of those phase_*.mf files now. Tell me if you find anything more out, ok?

Where is my install folder? Where is the \bin folder? Where are the multify.exe files? What MF files? When you say "Toontown Directory", do you mean like, screenshots, phases, ect., ect.? Where is the command line, what directory do I have to set, and what is my current directory? Where do I type in: multify.exe -x -f PHASE_XXXXX.mf? Sorry about all of these questions.

What the heck!?!? Whenever Flippy or Mickey talks in the sound files in the folders in toontown it's some Japanese guy! I can access pretty much any sound in the game and a few textures. I can't seem to open the model or map files though. I'd really like to see someone make a mod for this! Even though they'd get in trouble, we could still use it because Disney probably wouldn't be able to detect that it is in use. Some mods I'd REALLY like to see would be a "noclip" mode (flying in the air and going through every object in the game), a Terminator remake of the textures, like the buildings would be grey and in ashes and the cogs would look like Terminators, and the toons would ware military clothes and get some kind of cool laser guns. I am getting carried away again, aren't I?

First, you need Panda3D. You'll find the multify.exe file in the Panda3D installed files. The command line is your DosPrompt (Start > Run > command or Start > Run > cmd depending on your windows version). You create a new directory and copy the Toontown's MF files and the file multify.exe

Oh, and something not mentioned - the directory names should not be more than 8 characters long otherwise you'll start getting *.dll file missing/errors.

You need legal permission to do ANYTHING with anybody elses intellectual property, including Disney's Toontown Online. The nice lawbots at Disney have allowed this site to display images that are deemed copyrighted providing there's no profit made.

Could you not get that any bigger??? Believe me - size doesn't matter. Okay, in this case it does. Just makes me say "Search the Internet!"

Searching for "Panda 3D Python" on Yahoo generates Link #1 to www.etc.cmu.edu/panda3d (currently down) and Link #2 to sourceforge.net/projects/panda3d which houses the downloadable files.

Some of you people are so lazy! If you want to get Panda 3D just do a search on Google or some other search engine. I used MSN and I found it right away. I don't think I typed in just "Panda 3D". I might of typed in something like "Download Panda 3D". Try different things
