Question Twilight Books?

What do you guys think of the Twilight books?

I have read the 1st and part of the 2nd and I absolutely love them!

And I am sooooo excited for the movie to come out too! Its looks like they kept right with the storyline of the 1st book.

Im crazy about the books and the movie trailers! lol

What do you guys think?

I liked the first two.
The third one was okay, too.
I "HIGHLY DISLIKED" the fourth one.

I don't think I'll watch the movie.

Btw, SodaPop Curtis, I love your name.

the books were good!
the fourth book was a little too sci-fi for me. She based all of her books off of other books, ie. romeo and juliet, withering heights, but, the last book was based off 2 different books, one of them was some weird sci-fi book, that no one hardly heard of. If i were you, i'd read 1-3 and make up my own ending for book 4

The last book was influenced by Midsummer Night's Dream and The Merchant of Venice.

Yeah, I never heard of the second one before Breaking Dawn.

I love Stephenie's work, it's just that I didn't really enjoy Breaking Dawn.

I love The Host, and I can't wait until the sequel's out ( if there is one.... SMeyer said she was working on making it a series, but I'm not sure if she changed her planned like she did with Midnight Sun ).

Yeahh, those books are amazing. I'm rereading Twilight for I think the 4th time.
The Host was really good too. It was nice to have a change in story line.

Completely agreed with everything you said, including how SodaPop Curtis's name is awesome lol
Breaking Dawn was a complete disappointment, I could hardly believe I was even reading a book from the same series as the first 3.

I just got it from the school library (had it on hold for a month!)

I LOVE it so far, and I'm only on page 30.

Girls at my school: Oooooh Edward!~
Please. It's a book.

I've never read it- because it's always check out of the libary. The plot sounds good (I like vampire stories x3) in all but.... what I've heard from people I trust, the writing still is just flat and boring; but still good. I don't plan on reading it though.

I bet the movie will be real bad.
Mabey if it diddn't have as much fans I'd read it. To popular much?
I'm not in to books that much, etheir. Plus it looks big. Big books scare me.

Ive read them all I couldnt wait for the last one I was at Borders for the last book release party (had reserved mine). Im looking forward to the movie. The reason all they hype about them is, and the comparing them to the Harry Potter series is, its a series that gets pre teens n teens to read like Harry Potter in a digital age where most kids and adults wont take the time to enjoy the orginal entertainment of reading, I have always been a reader and my daughter blows me outta the water, she reads with a passion, everyone should love books, Ive never known a dumb person who loved to read.....
