Guys. QUIT BLAMING ******* FOR THE MURDERS/KIDNAPS/OTHER STUFF THATS NOT G-RATED
Ok, Tom (creator) never intended for his site to end up like it is now. Its the members' fault that they're getting murdered and kidnapped and stuff. What has ******* done to get people killed? Nothing! The same thing could happen on these forums. A guy could post a thread saying "Hi my names Jimmy [insert last name here] and i live in [insert specific location here]"
And I do realize that the mods would delete it once they saw it, but whose to say that an online predator wouldn't see it first?
******* shouldn't be at fault for everything thats happened, its the members that do it..

Yeah, you can just as easily give out personal information on any other form of internet communication, ******* is getting blamed because it is so popular.

I am going to try NOT adding the word "my'space" to the word filter. Please, do not use that word. The mods will occassionally search for posts with that word in them, and it will be a lot easier if the search doesn't turn up a bunch of posts about how you feel about that site.

As I said in my original post, we are doing this because of concerns over safety with that site.
I'm not saying it's good or bad, but that some people, some parents, do have concerns about it.
Nothing on sites like that is positive enough to outweigh the concerns of the parents
