New Cd/Gamecard

I was looking at an ad in a magazine when I came across an ad for the Toontown C-d Rom game and the new gamecard.
Anyway, I was looking and I came up with some information. I believe you can play offline with the cdrom, and as for the game card it only lasts a month, and you have to buy a new one every month...I got this info from the website:

What is a Toontown Game Card?
The Toontown Game Card is a part of our soon to be available retail CD-ROM package. It’s the very same game available for download online today!
What do I get with a Game Card?
With each Game Card you get one month of play in Disney’s Toontown Online.

Where can I purchase a Game Card?
You’ll be able to purchase Toontown Game Cards at stores near you beginning in October 2003.

Why Would I Want One?
The Toontown retail package provides access to Disney’s Toontown Online without the use of a credit card. If you have a slow connection to the Internet, the retail package is also for you. You can use the included installation CD-ROM for fast and easy setup!

Hope that clears it up!

It doesn't sound to me like you can play offline, just that dial-up users aren't forced to wait through an interminable initial download. But I may be wrong.

Actually is for dial up or lazy people and the game card is for people who dont want to use credit cards (go out and buy it instead and put in the numbers)

Well the cards I think go as much as u want. ut if u were to put in ur card and u got as montly account. If would be put this in, you have to pay mobnthly for the amount of money u putt on the card. To find out more about this u should go to the toontown website they explain it there.

I went through the card payment thing (without a card), and it looks like it simply acts like a credit on your account.

In other words, it LOOKS like a $10 card could be used on an account that pays $5.95, and they would get proper credit (paid up on one month, plus owing $1.90 for the next month).

Also, it looks like you could set your account for the 6-month or 1-year deals, and just buy enough cards to pay for it.

If Disney wants to send me a bunch of cards, I'll be happy to test it out for them. :)
