If you recall, the specs for the logo said:

We need an original vector image for printing purposes as well as using that for online work. 360dpi would be great.

Vector being the point. I assumed, incorrectly as you pointed out, that you had used Flash. So, now that you have corrected me, perhaps we can move on.

I am sorry if I sounded a bit crass I did not intend to offend I just wanted to explain that there are many ways to do graphics and to assume is not a very good way to go about posting questions concerning graphical subjects. By the way I tried it in flash and either it degrades the pallet too much or if I prevent that it is over 2 meg But the point is that I didn't know that before you suggested flash so I had to try it thank you for the education another viewpoint always helps that is why boards like this exist

Thumbs up orig logo vote

I may be biased but my favorite original logo submitted thus far is your's Philo Q Phungi! That is totally AWESOME!!
Margo aka Poppy (100 maxd, orange cat ... feel like i must describe since i've seen some others with the name Poppy ... not unexpected as i was too impatient to wait for a name submittal so it's a name from Disney)

I agree with Lady Slippy Wondercrump ... every single logo i've seen is creative and good luck to all. Whichever logo is chosen, remember, ALL of yours really are imaginative and attention grabbing! Great job on all of your innovative submittals!

Animated logos aren't necessary Phil, but yours are definitely
cool. With the requirements set at 350 px x 100 px, animated
logos are bound to be higher than 15k, which can be a burden on
both bandwidth and those who aren't on broadband. Your logo
should be designed so that it can be incorporated into the
existing layout of the site. I'm very curious to see what you
come up with for a static, or less intensive dynamic design

I dunno, I like this one. For people with slow computers, the animated ones don't cut it. But everyone did a nice job, better than I could!
