anyone else get a e-mail with passwords

I got a weird e-mail yesterday, from toontown.com the game site

The subject said just a reminder

It had my log in name, log in pass and parent pass in it.

I forgot my parent pass when I first got toontown. I had to go through a whole mess of step to get the old pass and get a new one. I had also changed e-mail accounts in the middle. So I couldn't use the great feature of just e-mail my pass.

I did not request my pass. Should I have gotten a e-mail like this or is this a normal e-mail?

Can anyone advise me?

Did they want a reply?
On the dark side, perhaps someone was trying to get your account info and the email got sent to you instead of them..(as it should have been).

No, they didn't want a reply. I just thought it was weird. I was thinking that someone tried to get my information, too.

You may have been on the "Users awaiting validation" list. Some users go on that list when they first join, others don't, I don't know why. :)

Some users are listed as "COPPA", even though they shouldn't be, based on their stated birthdate.

When I validate a user on that list, it sends a confirmation email with your details.

Users Awaiting Confirmation can't post right?

Sometimes people don't respond to the email when they register, so they go on that list....how often does the admincp update, like every 15 minutes or something...

If people change their email they can go on that list...I've had people email me wondering why they suddenly can't post, and it turned out it was because they went in and did that.

Yep but she mentioned the parent password....
so that led me to believe the game.
I'm easily confused Lol.

Yes, I've received two of those mails now. They were a reminder of a free trial account that I had at some stage. They must be chasing up trial accounts in the hope that someone will register and start paying. (well that's all mine was anyways)

It's also possible that your request to get the old password was stuck in some e-mail database and only just now got processed.

I got the same email - twice.

I assumed it could have been someone accidentally using my account name on login and using the wrong password (or someone trying to crack it).

I have no idea.
