It seems here that you haven't had much experience with MMORPGs other than Toontown Online. Other MMORPGs have put out far more content in far less time than Disney has for TTO. TTO has been live for at least 18 months and they've had 2 major enhancements. World of Warcraft if far more detailed and rich in environment. They haven't gotten to new content yet but they've only been live for 3 months. Earth & Beyond pushed new content on a 4 to 6 week schedule.

I don't necessarily blame their developers, I blame Disney.

I agree with the few people who said they are also working on a theme park, a television channel, merchandise, computer and other electronic games, television games with that little joystick thing, and MUCH MUCH MORE!!! Plus, panda 3-D is a lot like what the programmers do in Disney! IT IS HARD! I think they are going at an incredible speed, because cashbot HQ is SO INCREDIBLY HUGE AND DETAILED AND INTERACTIVE!!!!!!

Disneys doing more stalling...Edit:Well I guess it's not really stalling, I just knew it for so long thats its kinda hard not to think of it that way.
Oh and by the way, not one group is working on everything. Their are set groups for everythong on disney, and the group to work on toontown only works on toontown. That's how big busnesses like this work.

You really can't compare toontown to the other MMORPGs toontown is made very different. Mainly on the other MMORPGs the world is a lot bigger place so it is easier to add more stuff to them. But the biggest reason is that Toontown is made for younger kids and if they make it to big to fast it will not be as easy for younger kids to understand. With the MMORPGs that I have played you can tend to go your own way and do what you want to when you what it. With toontown you tend to follow a course and can't really change from that course you go from playground to playground and yes disney is slow with keeping updates caught up with the toons that are the hightest to let them keep moving forward in the game but overall I don't think that are that bad at it. I mean there are not many Hollywoods out there yet waiting to be able to move there toon forward some more and disney does put some little stuff in the game to keep us going till they are able to add something bigger to it. Toontown has changed alot since it first came out. People who have been playing Toontown since the Beta can say that when it first came out it pretty much had nothing and it has grown alot over the few years it is been out maybe not as much as some of the other MMORPGs but again Toontown is made for younger kids adults just got hooked with it because it is simple to play and entertaining but these are just my thoughts.

How WRONG!

People that keep insisting that Disney is lazy are just plain WRONG!

I started playing 2 yrs ago. There were NO estates.... fishing was for task only no fishie trophies.... NO pets.... the catching game wasn't even in the Trolley games... there was no Sellbot HQ.... you topped out at 100 laff pts. and there were no "help a noob" tasks.

That's 6 things in 2 yrs that I can think of and it's about 1 add-on every 3 mos. Geesh.... looks to me like Disney IS on the ball!

Again you people whinning and carrying on about laziness.... SHAME ON YOU!

Rattlebones, there is something you need to know. Disney is trying their hardest on TTO. Other MMORPGs have a bigger picture then tt does. With tt you can only make it a simple, rated G game. With some other games they have lots of materal being added every few weeks but usally it is not what I said (simple and G rated)

Well, few weeks is definetly a bit... short...

FFXI does a major (and I mean dramatically game-changing 90% of the time) update around ever 2 months. However, FFXI definetly has a much larger, and probably more well-paid staff. I would be surprised to find out that Disney has more then 30 people working on TT.

I was in Pajama Place introducing myself to the new shop keepers and I met this nice Toon named Whispering Willow. The next thing I know, I am waking up at my house and I find this memo in my pocket. Every time I go to Dreamland I seem to sleep for days!" All Toons are asked to boost their laff points and stock up on gags for the challenge ahead!

PS: My advice for you low laffers: Don't even try it! I have test and there is nothing below a level 8 in there! Plus there is tough obstacles!
what about toons who have there laff up to 45 should they go in?

probably not. im 59 laff in test now, and im having a hard time
and plus, i dont think youll get the chance to anyway. the way its set up now, as soon as you complete the brrg tasks, you are given tasks to get the cashbot suit

so, if its like everything else in TT, then youll have to progress all the way to ddl tasks before you can get your suit

Only
thing is u shouldnt be too excited only 1 test team has defeated the CFO (VP) because it is so hard and it is about 5 times harder than sell bott hq and it is about 3 times bigga than donalds dreamland, in my view it is just another HQ that will drive toons crazy about it there shouldnt be any toons with 60 laff or under going in trust me if u go in u will find out.
Im not trying to put hopes down but Cashbot HQ should come out with in 2-4 weeks, because it takes awhile to set it up on the database that connects to the internet for all i know thats costing thousands of dollars
