Game Updates

The Summer Fun is just getting started, as we have just released some game updates based upon player feedback. Here's what's new:

• Sleeping Toons will now auto-reply to whispers.
• Toons who pass in battles will no longer receive ToonTask credit. Also, the battle screen will let players know who is passing during a Cog battle.
• Cattlelogs have been changed to display the lowest costing items first.

Oh, I like the first two changes! I think the third is kind of dumb though. Does that mean we wont see the newest ones first? Or does it mean cheepest to most expensive in each section? I don't really care how expensive stuff is. :|

The cattlelog change means you'll see the lowest pricing options first, followed by the more expensive, so the statues are at the last few pages. I really don't like this, the old method was the better. I don't see the point of that update, as it means the entire thing looks different and more unorganized to me.

I'm glad about the sleeping toons-replying thing! But what does it mean by toons who pass don't get credit? Like if you pass once or more? Or if you don't play at all?

If you use a gag atleast once on that cog you'll get credit for it. But it's only toontask credit, not gag credit itself.

If there are about 3 cogs and you only get to hit one of them, and lets say someone else killed the others or you ran out of time before you got to choose a gag, but you did hit other cogs in the battle, do you still get task credit? And what about merits?

As long as you use at least one gag in a battle (doodles also count as gags in this case, and only once during a building is necessary, would assume same for merits/etc but haven't heard of a test for it), you will get the toontask and merit/etc credit.

Running out of time is considered the same as passing.

If you use at least one gag\doodle during a battle or a building, do you get merits and tasks for all the cogs, even if you didn't attak all of them?
And what about battles inside a factory or cogs golf, if you went into all of the battles there but you didn't get to use a gag in some of them, do you still get merits and tasks for all the battles?

I can't get on Toontown at the moment, so I'm gonna ask - what does it mean by "auto reply" when the toon is asleep?

Probably tells your friends that you are asleep when they try to whisper to you, so they won't think you ignore them...

Doing buildings, yes, you get credit for every cog even if you didn't attack some of them. Haven't heard anyone mention a study for factories or mints, and can't test them myself seeing as I don't need either. I would assume it's the same.

You will get a whisper saying that the toon is sleeping, as soon as you whisper to them. It replies automatically to inform you they may not answer.

No more coming in just to let me defeat the cogs for them!
