This is so awesome! I mean it is needs to improve but it will improve , i hope. Like how come when sometimes I talk it goes to a sf of mine and its in a whisper. It needs to improve but it is still awesome. Lol.

This was annoying me at first too! But now, I find that it's a cool feature. To do it, simply hold down shift while you press enter. The message will go to all of your sfs that are near you. It's helpful if you only want to talk to sfs, because the messages go to everyone and you get everyone's message. However, if you don't want this to happen, just make sure you aren't holding down shift while you press enter. When you do this, the phrase should appear over your head, and be visible to everyone XD

Hope this cleared some stuff up!

Seems like I'm the only one very irrated by this new feature.

First of all, for all you people who are wondering why they cannot type numbers (ex. 1 or one) it is because you could potentially give out your phone number. And I highly do not recommend going around it (ex. on e) because there is a possibility Devs will realize that.

The reason I am very irritated is that I cannot talk to my sfs without the other toons seeing what I am saying. If there is some way around this, I will be as happy as a clam, but I do not know of such thing at this point.

I've been testing this on test and now on open! But they still have alot of words to add to the "O.K. Word list". So it does nnot get like this and then get ekk! ruff!.

You have to go to the official TT site, log in, go to member prefrences, you need your parent password of course, and there you have the option to have SC+ or not.

Speed Chat Plus has been released in the United States version of
Toontown, but will be released for the UK in the new year.

Before we ready Speed Chat Plus for our gamesite, you will certainly see
it announced on our front page.

I don't really like it all that much. for one thing, not everyone will understand if they're not enabled. two, it kinda takes away from true friend chat.

I am thrilled with SC+. I've seen two instances of some griefing that would never have happened this way before, but it was brief, and it would have been a series of You stinks instead. Hey, it's going to happen, right?

However, I've seen great cooperation in boss battles, great conversations in the playgrounds (and some hilarious ones as well!), and I've gotten to meet some very cool randoms here and there.

But the best part? I've gotten to talk with some of the toons I've been running with for months, but have never exchanged a word outside of SC! It's been great! The chat has been wonderful. Yes, some of them have been adults, and some have been kids, and some have been surprises. So for, I think it's been good. I have two toons that I so want to have turn it on, and they haven't yet! I want them to turn it on because I want to be able to talk with them about strategy - they're the ones I want to turn it on the most, and they haven't!

No, SC+ will only show the chat for those who have it enabled. If you have it turned off, no one else but your sfs will see what you are saying.
