Toon-Up Your Wardrobe

Is your Toon's wardrobe in need of a Toon-up? If so, you should drop by one of the playground clothing shops and pick up some new duds! Each of the Toontown clothing shops has received items from the "Make-a-Toon" selections in an effort to spread these Toontastic clothes around Toontown. But don't bring your jellybeans, as they are not the preferred currency. No jellybeans? That's right -- these shops only accept clothing tickets. What, you don't have a clothing ticket? That's okay -- just drop by Toon HQ and pick up a "Just for Fun!" ToonTask that rewards with a clothing ticket -- complete it and start shopping!

I helped my mom make a toon on Sunday and there is now a DRASTICALLY short list of styles in Make-a-Toon to choose from.

-_- Why in the world would they move clothes around?...I liked being able to go to TTC or DD and having everything there. No, instead they make life difficult and have you run around.

Lol, they already improved our wardrobes.

You guys getting too tempted? Nothing is changed, there just reminding us about clothing shops because no one is using them, so it's just more worthless news, like the March 08 "Spring Fishing", just to get our faces out of BBHQ.

No, here's what they did.

In the past TTC had a HUGE selection of every choice of clothing you had when making your toon. These were available while working in TTC and when your toon was finished with DDL tasks. TTC was a one-stop clothing supermall.

What they did was spread chunks of this inventory around to all the other playgrounds. For example, the girls ruffled shirt and denim pocketed skirts are now available in the brrgh where the flowered shirt and pleated skirt is now available in DG, instead of all being available in TTC.

So instead of everything all being in one convenient playground, it's spread here and there around the various playgrounds. You have to hunt around for that favorite style shirt, and possibly cash in multiple tickets in order to match it with a favorite style skirt.

It's great to the toons working in those playgrounds as they now have more to choose from, but those of us with toons in TTC or graduated from DDL, it's a pain to try and hunt around from playground to playground to find our favorite styles.

i noticed this last night when I completed a task for a clothing ticket and I had to use it in Toontown Central playground. I bought the white skirt with a plain yellow T shirt and don't remember that being offered there before.

That outfit was always in the TTC playground, along with tons of other styles and colors. They actually drasticly decreased what was once in TTC, and scattered them among the other playgrounds.

You will still only be able to cash in the ticket in the playground you are working in. If you're working in DD, you can only use your ticket in the DD clothing store. If you working in MML, you can only use your ticket in the MML clothing store. Once your toon has completed all of their tasks after DDL, you can use your clothing tickets at any playground's clothing store (even if the clerks name is different than whats on your clothing ticket).

Actually, I did have to use it in Toontown Central and i am finished with Donald's Dreamland. I thought I could use it in Donald's Dreamland so I went there and the shopkeeper said I needed a clothing ticket. I was like what the heck I do have a clothing ticket. But when I checked the task it said Toontown Central playground.

I wonder if that was a bug. I've turned in 4 clothing tickets (girls can't have too many clothes, right?) the past couple days and have turned them in all over the place. Weird.
