Server Upgrade
Hello all,
As you all most probably noticed the forum server (the computer this site is sitting on) has been going up and down like the toon's used to do in nutty river. Due to this we have had to implement a plan to upgrade the server. The new server specs are as follows: Dual AMD Opteron 254 (x2) PGA940 2.8GHZ 1MB CACHE 1GHZ FSB 8GB DDR2 ECC RAM 2x 36GB 15k SCSI Hard Drives, in Raid 0 1.5 Terrabytes of Bandwidth (Transfer) Directadmin CentOS 64bit. Instant Remote Reboot. Price per month is $220 Basically we would like to get the server up and running before the old server needs to be renewed, so if you would like to donate or are thinking of donating please do so now so we can get this ball rolling. We have had an influx of people donating and doing chargebacks so our funds are actually in the negative at the moment which is bad. Plans are that after this update during peak times things will run a bit smoother due to the fact that this server is much faster than our previous server in hard drive speed, ram and cpu specs. The best way to donate is to get a donation subscription. But you can manually donate to on the home page of TTC. Best Regards Nick |

Haven't seen you around in a while!
A server upgrade sounds great. I will try to make a donation if I can to help this to happen, i'm not so hot on the money front right now though so it wouldn't be much.

Well, If it was forever then I would but the only way is to win contests so whats the point, You could buy it for a month, forget about it, and by the time you get back and you remeber its gone.

I would love to help as i had the money ready for a PM subscription but i am having problems with my sister's PayPal. I can not pay by Click and Buy or credit card either. I'm not sure if i know someone else with a paypal account so I'm kind of stuck. I wish there was another way to pay for it. Good luck Nick.

Why doesn't Disney donate the money for servers ?This site is helping out with their product.
