Test Server: November 20, 2003 [sv1.0.8.9.test]
  • Look forward to new items upcoming in the Cattlelog in time for winter.
  • New sound effects on emotions and events, as well as MIDI file fixes for notes getting "stuck on".
  • Badly placed teleport spot fixed.
  • Bugs that caused AI crashes fixed.
  • New ActiveX control (be sure to get this or game launch may crash).

(Note clicking SOS during battle will now crash the client.)

If you are away from Toontown for several weeks, when you log back in your next catalog will not skip ahead to catch up. Instead you will receive the next catalog in line so you do not miss anything. For example, if you were playing on Issue 2 and do not log in for several weeks, the next time you log in after the day of the week you usually receive catalogs you will receive Issue 3.

If you go into your cattloge it also makes the sound for the applause but I didn't happen to notice for shrug. Catty angry sounds good.

I also just noticed that they reverted the Toontown schtiker book map to the old, Open map. Looks like the developers are pulling any "hint" at Cog HQ from test.

Good: My cattlelog cover is all funky and shows a dog sitting in a chair! Does that means we can expect our toons to USE the furniture now?

EDIT: and lamps on tables ;-)

Bad: Still goes right to backorder ><

My Mood:
New Catlelog Content

It appears that the "cattlelog bug" may be fixed for those toons that were stuck with no new content. My big toon got Series2 #1 when she logged on to test this AM (with no new content) and within 20 min also got #2...with new content. This included a leaf bed, a toonscape painting and more phrases.
I was so glad to see the phrase "I am helping my friend".
Can a new fishing rod be far behind?

This is freeware here but I have no clue what we are supposed to have, never had any issues with it? I gather it's in WinXP already??

Ive always felt we should be able to sit in our furniture. It cant be that hard of an animation. Look at how we sit on the trolley. Its the same way right?

I think that if they do make it so we can sit and lay down, I think they should make it so that we recover laff points faster. Kinda like what you would do on a MUD (Multi User Dungeon).

And being an architect, I would love to be able to make the house bigger. Build additions on to it and what not. Of course, larger JB requirements. hehe. Anyway, break is over at work here. Time to go back to the grind.

It is a simple animation, but incorporating button, emote, word, or hot key so that it does it is another story. Not to mention the lying down, turning on lamps, etc.

I want a house addition too, but I want CHQ first
