Angry Why do toons do that!?!?

Ok, we're in a CJ run and everythings seemingly fine. We get to the scale/stun round and i can stun 3/4 cogs at a time. But it seems like every run i get these "idiots" who like to interfere and run back and forth across the cogs throwing evidence. It gets in my way and wastes time....you use the phrases "I got it" "please go away" "stop that" and nothing works. Thier not helping but hindering and being counter-productive. It's annoying.

Maybe they don't know exactly what they are doing and what you want them to stop. These toons could just be switching with a stunner to go throw evidence into the scale. You never know.

Keep in mind, this is from me, the CJ noob.

they seemed pretty determined to interupt the flow pattern of me and the 2 others who were working. We had it under control, but they just kept getting in the way...kinda hard to get that 2X Heavier thing when you have to fight with annoying toons.

I mean i get that they were probably new but how much more obvious is " I got it"

I often have this problem even with CCG!
If it is going too badly, I'd just give up- you are frusterating yourself AND them. Just go scale for a while until maybe they ask for your help

Yes, a common problem. I think they simply do not yet understand the idea that toons each individually target only 2 or 3 cogs to stun. I just take a few steps back from the cogs, and just concentrate on the 3 cogs in front of me and ignore the toons that go back and forth. No biggy if they stun a cog I'm stunning, I just stun them anyway.

Better a toon wasting his time going back and forth stunning than having too few stunners!

My gosh! I was going to make a thread about this! You're SOOOO right, they're complete idiots. I don't get it? I was there first, I'm stunning 4 fine, and then someone comes and tries to show off and stuns my 4 , half which already stunned, and does the slide thing... Its like dude, you're not helping. It throws off the pattern I have going, makes me have to start over, and makes getting a bonus that much harder. People are just so annoying! Its harder to get a bonus with 5 people than it is with 2 because everyone has there pattern and no ones stunning already stunned cogs and leaving the unstunned ones unstunned.

And I really don't care if you're new to the cj, anyone, new or not, can tell if a cog is being stunned by someone and whether or not they don't need your help, esspecially not if they've already been getting bonuses. It has nothing to do with being new to cj, just simple logic. I was a new to cj once too you know, I knew not to do that! And I hate that stupid excuse "everyone wants a try to stun too" If you want a try then don't get there 5 min after everyones been stunning, go there first and I'll let you be. I hate when people demand new toons to scale when they're there first but I also hate when people try to stun the cogs the people already were stunning. It's annoying, rude, and akfjakjgskfjgksj drives me crazy. I ussually just go scale cuz I rather help my team than hurt it but I sure do start venting to sfs about it. Its sooooo annoying.

FJAKGSFDKHJFSDKJH GOSH! I've been waiting all week to vent about this! I've done 40 cjs this week, its been driving me crazy!

You might be doing the CJ's in Nutty River or something. That's why there are no rules and everybody messes up.

I've been running is Summit cause i can never get into River. But the point is the same it really doesnt matter what district your in, you can obviously see that the cogs are being stunned by somebody, why go there and instigate trouble. Obviously, we *the stunners* were doing fine before you showed up, like in that run right off the bat we had all the cogs stunned and there were 3 of us. Thats when the trouble started and the yellow duck and cat started the whole run back and forth stuff. It was royally annoying and was causing problems, as OP said. They were so concerned with running back and forth that cogs weren't getting stunned, which meant *drumroll please* they through stuff at me. I went from having 120 laff to like 50 in no time. I haven't been that low in a long time.

Basically they don't know better. They probably don't come here for the great guides.

They are the ones who always follow the monkeys advice in CFO regardless of what others say. Sit there swinging a swing all over the place for most of CFO as they can't control crane, but won't give up until red goons stream out.

Basically they think all cogs need stunning all the time, and they think that by going up and down doing all 8 by themselves they are doing just that, they probably don't even look properly to see if its stunned already or not.

Of some of course will be younger kids, who probably just like running up and down cog line stunning them all.

Yes, what they were doing is wrong. There should be 3-4 toons stunning, 2-3 cogs each.

Assuming this was a river battle, try not to go with them if you can. I've never been in a greify CCG CJ. I did see this toon once who just threw evidence like crazy at one cog, constantly... wow.
