My first CJ loss
I had my first non CCG run and my first loss in the CJ today. I always had great respect for the CCG but this really reinforces it. Thanks CCG!!!!!!!
I had a friend in Nutty River invite me to battle the CJ this morning just as I was about to leave for work. I never had any problems with the CJ so I did not think this would any different. Was I ever wrong!
The COG round went smooth enough (except for 1 got disconnected) but things quickly turned bad. We had 5 jurors (no big deal as we did not have a bonus and I have had several good runs with that many). The problem started when toons wanted a toon-up when they were down about 20 laff points (out of 11x). Several times there were only 2 throwing evidence into the pan. Other times there were over 5 (when that happened, I switch to stunning).
I was doing ok (with my laff down to 70 of 110) when another toon called for help. She was down to 10 of 1xx. We went to the stand but we lost more that we could get with all the COG’s throwing evidence at us. We both went sad (me about 90 seconds after her).
I will have to think hard about going on non CCG CJ runs!
GIVE ME the CCG ANYDAY!!!!!!!!!
