Gardening Statues

Is there a point to buying them? What do they do for you? Or are they just for decoration? Cause I know in the catalog most of the statues I have say skill too low next to them.. I'm on 3 bean combos now. So.. that alone makes me think they are actually FOR something. But are they?

I just assume it's a way to show off your gardening skill. I don't want every statue on my estate to be the same, so some toons never "upgrade" theirs.

Well, here's what the "Player's Guide" says.

Once you've attained a sufficient skill level, you'll be able to purchase statues from Clarabelle's Cattlelog. The greater your skill, the more statues you'll be able to buy.

Each statue comes with a specific recipe of jellybeans. You'll need to plant the statue with that assortment of jellybeans at the same time. Statues may only be placed on designated areas around your Estate.

It doesn't say the have a specific purpose - but it doesn't say they don't have a purpose, either. I think they are just for showing off your skill level.

They also are a good way to use up excess jellybeans, once you get at the level where you have lots of jellybean tasks (kill 400 cogs for 1200 jellybeans, etc.) and to use up fishing jellybeans.

By the way, you can only buy 255 of each statue...

Yes purely for decoration, and as you go up in gardening skill you can get better ones.

But for the ultimate showoffs, most likely coming to open soon, unless testers totally reject it, which very unlikely, is possibilty of making statue of any of your toons or any of the toons on your friends list.

However downside of this is you need to maxed out in flowering, or at least upto 639 shovel points, 8 bean flower combos end.

I bought a statue of my toon and don't know the bean combination to plant it. That was 5000 wasted jb unless anyone can help me out here.

I planted mine with 8 green jellybeans. I can't remember where you can find that information but I know you can... I'll look and see if I can help you better. Mickey Mouse is 4 silver .

I think they look very cool in my garden. I bought the Victorious Allicat because I was so relieved to be maxxed in gardening, finally

ROTFL!!!!! You've given me my first laugh of the day between the 255 statues and the JB reward for the Devil. Mom is stuck on 136 because of that Devil too! And I'll one up ya. I'll offer 10,000 JB's! Top that!


On Topic:
The Statues are just another (very expensive) piece of furniture at your Estate. They don't *do* anything but look nice. The SUPER nice thing about them though is that you can choose to make the statue ANY TOON on your friends list or just keep it as yourself. You can also choose between 4 different poses. My favorite is the bored pose.

It's a way to show off your estate, gardening skills (like it takes skill lol), or admiration for a friend. Personally, from someone that HATES house decorating (all my houses have 3 things in them, 2 hidden behind the walls ... JB Jar, Closet, and Phone.), I love these statues.

all u get is the fancy garden statue I got mine a statue of my favorite toon friend Violet Violet_13 on here of her with her arms crossed but all you get is a statue....I think its kinda cool though...

It shows how hard you work at toontown if you can get the status statue. Like an expensive house or car or jewelry in real life?

Mine was 8 blue jb. I guess depending on which pose you choose?? I got the one with the arms crossed. If blue doesn't work, try the other colors.
