why doesn't the red jellybean work in gardening?

i have been trying to plant red,sliver,blue jellybeans but it keeps saying that combination doesn't work.
does anybody know when i will be able to use them.
also when can i use two jellybeans at once

I think you need to get both a watering can and shovel upgrade.

Yeah. Here is the Jellybean Combo chart. Check it for the correct comboinations if your having problems. Also, you can only plant a few types of flowers with a specific level. Good luck gardening!
