How do you do it?

How are you supposed to figure out all of the combinations without looking them up somewhere? I'm just curious if anyone has did it without looking them up. It seems like I've tried combinations forever, and I still can't find very many.

Why don't you look them up here? We have stickies that give each combination.. Gardening is simple if you use that. The combinations are in the "Kid Bugs' Carrot Patch" forum. If you just want to do the combinations yourself, then I can't help you.

Well, that's why I'm asking... I don't want to cheat except as a last resort. I'd rather figure them out on my own. But if everyone else finds it impossible with looking some up, I was considering looking some up myself. Thanks for replying!

There really isn't any shame in looking them up. I don't know of anyone to go through the whole thing without using the spoiler. You can figure them out, but it really would just be much easier to use the thread to get your gardening done. It would take alot of time to try and figure them out, and for people that plan on maxing everything it would be pretty tough. I would suggest using the guide, but if you want to try it yourself it's more power to ya. I personally don't have that kind of patience.

What could be best is record what combo's you've already done-creating a type of checklist. Use symbols so you don't have to write out the whole color, like "R" for red, "B" for blue, "V" for violet etc.

Yeah, I'm running low on my patience as it is! Maybe I'll try harder at figuring them out on my own. If it gets to the annoying point in my mind, I'll look some up. It probably ends up taking over 30+ hours of time just trying out the combinations, let alone waiting for the flowers to grow. I do intend on maxing Laff points one day, so... yeah.

Noble as you may think it is not to cheat by looking them up. You'll never do it alone, 4,5 6,7,8 combos where done with teams of toons, especially 6 onwards, wheres teams of toons took sections of different starting colors and did the possible combinations, moving on after one was done, was a gigantic operation.

I found a pattern. Different types of flowershave the same beginning. So, if you're trying to find a different variety of a flower that you've already discovered, enter the same jellybeans as the longest combo of that flower you have, then just experiment by adding one more jellybean to find what works. For example: What-In-Carnation=Pink Instant Carnation=PINK, Yellow ?Carnation?=Pink, Yellow, ?

Not only was that not what they were asking about they knew there were flower guides, they were asking if there were patterns or ways they could work out themselves, not look up the answers.

You also quoted a guide from another server forum, we don't need guides from other servers thank you, we have have guides here on TTC, why bother going to somewhere else for it.
