Not all jellybean combos work. Only a few will, and there's only 5 kinds of flowers in every type of # of jellybeans. You'll have to experiment which of them will work. It's like an investment.

Here is a link to the jellybean chart.
First go next to the patch of dirt along the outside of your house, and then click the "plant" icon (the shovel). After the window appears, choose one of the beans that works, depending on how many beans you are able to plant. After choosing the beans, choose to plant the bean. After an animation (that gets VERY repetitive), the bud will appear with a dry patch of dirt under it. After a window appears telling you which plant you've planted, water the plant. The next day, it will be full grown. Once it is full grown, you must click the "pick" button where the "plant" icon normally is. After picking the flower, you have to repeat the planting process.
