Gag trees?

I have a question about the gag trees... Right now I have the full throw track planted and growing - mainly just for the bonuses since I rarely pick anything from the trees. But I was toying with the idea of switching over to lure from throw since lure has been behaving badly at boss battles lately (I already have lure maxed as well). However, my question is - if I dig up all but my wedding cake tree and then make the rest of my trees lure, would the wedding cake just become empty? Also if I decided to switch back to throw, would the wedding cake start growing gags again as soon as the birthday cake gags came back? Or am I the only person to have this silly idea/question?

I *think* (Stressing think) that if you dig up all except the wedding cake, it won't get the bonuses, but you can still get gags from it. And I don't know for your other question.

The wedding cake tree will stop blooming, I am fairly sure you will not even be able to pick the last one.....as far as if you dig up lure and replant throw, I really have no clue, but I would assume it would make the wedding cake tree work again.....

ok ive tried something similar to this before.. if you planted and got a fully bloomed in your case wedding cake and removed any of the gags below it the tree stays there but it useless meaning you dont get a bonus for it and you cant harvest and if you decided to replant your throw track you would need to wait until all of them were fully bloomed again before your wedding cake could get its bonus again

probably not what you wanted to hear but i hope that helps

Yep, Domino has it right... if it is fully bloomed it will stay that way but no bonus and you can't pick it. But if you decided to replant the rest of the pies later... as soon as all the trees bloomed it would be fine again without having to wait another 21 days for a new lvl 7 to grow.

Thanks guys - this sounds about what I figured would happen. I was mainly unsure about how it would start blooming again. I figure that 8th tree is pretty useless anyway, so if I change - I'd rather keep my most powerful tree around than go through the wait again. Although maybe with BBHQ there will be a gag to use that 8th spot for.
