Which one do you find works best? Which one are you using right now?

I am using trap right now, but I think throw probably works best...

I've never had trap before but I find throw is useful, it's what I have right now. I find it particularly useful when there is a level 11, if it is lured and gets a lure bonus, one cake will wipe it out.

My cake isn't grown and it's taken out 12's before with lure bonus. Or...am i mistaken what you've said?

Anyways, i have squirt planted because i like to surprise people when i take out level 10's [with lure bonus] with my storm cloud :P.

Really? I've never heard that before. Lure bonuses only give 50% damage back and if a cake is 100 damage points, then with a lure bonus it should only be 150 damage to a 12 level with 200 health points. Perhaps someone else also attacked it?

No, I've taken out a lured 12 with a cake too. Mine is organic though...I have seen others take out 12s as well, some organic, some not...just depends

The only way it could take out a 12 is if it already had some points taken off, or if there was another gag that someone else used... Otherwise it wouldn't be enough...

you cant take out lured 12s with organic cakes, not even organic wedding cakes. The highest you can get with organic throw is with the lured bonus on a wedding cake, 132+66= 198, 2 points away from killing a level 12. Close but still not enough. With an organic bday cake, 110+55 = 165, enough to kill an 11 but still not enough to kill a 12. You must've been seeing it wrong.

Back on topic, organic throw packs the biggest punch. Fruit pies kill lured level 5s, and cream pies kill unlured level 5s.. really useful when soloing the factory, esp because theres a throw restock in there. And of course, bday cakes kill unlured level 9s, and lured level 11s. Very very useful. Trap actually is one of the least useful IMO. The only part i like about it is the trap doors killing level 7s. Alot of people say its better because of the 214 on railroad, but the thing is, toontanic is basically teh same thing, because either way you have to use two gags. You need someone to lure with the traintracks, and sound with the oceanliner. In a solo, it takes two turns either way. The better part about drop is that you dont need to take three turns ( on level 12s -- if you're railroad does 195 then in a solo you need 3 turns) if you have a different. Sound is pretty pointless in my opinion, toon up is obviously the worst though. So all in all, i'd say best organic gags to grow go in this order
1. Throw
2. Lure ( works great,they must've fixed the bug with it, esp great for an uber)
3. Trap
4. Sound
5. Drop
6. Squirt
7. Toon up

im using throw but i think that trap or drop wood work good, because they r the most pariful gags and the tree boost wood make them even stronger.

I think this cake confusion maybe due to some talking of Wedding Cake, not Normal cake.

On which works best, well most people go with whatever gag track they like, Trap and Drop are popular.

Though throw is probably best over all and once oraganic it has best advances.

Including, lvl 4 Taking out Lured 5, and lvl 5 takes out unlured 5, and Lv6, takes out lvl9 unlured and level 11 Lured, and like trap and drop, with an assist, in this case being lure bonus can take out 12's

Of course the choice usually incudes the daily picking of lv7s, being that throw is used a lot in battle, a lot of people choose their other powerful gags, like Trap and Drop which they probs see as slower to restock.

Exactly where I my opinion lies... throw and squirt lvl 7s come fairly fast regardless of how much you use them while trap or drop take quite a long time to replenish unless you use them constantly.

I grow trap for my 1st and my 2nd toon will have drop planted.
