Gardening after finding the 8 bean combo?

Okay, so I found all my 40/40 species of flowers and got another LP. I was browsing to see if I could find an answer to this, but I am having issues locating an answer.

Is there a reason to continue planting/picking flowers and "working up my skill"? Is there one more LP that is given when you completely max out all the flower picking possible?

Or is it there because Disney is going to possibly add in a 9, 10, 11+ bean combo flower in the future so it's worthwhile continuing to work on gardening now?

There is no more laff points to get right now, but who knows what the devs are planning for us?
That in mind I went ahead and maxed my skills on all my toons. At the end you will have trompets and glitter and a sighn saying
"Amazing! You've maxed out your shovel skill" Thats all, LOL :biggrin:

Congrats on the accomplishment!

Curious though, if they do implement further shovel/flower skills, I wonder if the next one would begin at the maxing of the 8-bean flower. If so, then it would make sense to go ahead and work it up to the max status right now so when the new flower/product comes out, we could immediately start working on it instead of having to finish up the points.

However, if they give credit for something between where you hit the 8 bean and where you max the shovel skill, I wonder how that would work... I don't want to have taken it to max shovel skill and have that work against me (which I can't imagine it doing, but you never know).

If they actually put a reward between getting the 8 bean and maxing it, you could contact Disney support and tell them you missed out since you were already maxed. Doubtful they'll put a reward in there however, since none of the other bean combos have rewards between getting that combo and maxing it.

When I got my last gardening laff point, I just continued to casually garden after that. Meaning, I eventually completely maxed, but I did so just recently (gardening came out, well I don't remember exactly lol). Point is, after I got the last laff point, I gardened here and there, because I hate gardening and there is no reason to make it to the end right now. But as others have said, you never exactly know if they are going to add more flowers and trophies, so that is the reason I finished at all. If you hate gardening like me, garden two or three times a week, or even once a week. This way, you don't have to worry about another full month of everyday gardening, and you now have the ability to garden at your leisure so that you can eventually make it to the end.

I agree with the random gardening idea. Also, the random gardening will remind you to water your gag trees. After I maxxed the shovel skill; I kept forgetting to water, and my trees repeatedly dried up.

YA, the trees will dry out if one forgets to water them.
Even while I was still planting flowers ( just finished gardening for my last toon a week ago) I made it a habit to water them the same day every week. Makes it easier for me to remember. LOL Monday is my gardening day!

I wouldn't worry about continuing to garden.

If Disney throws 9 bean flowers at us, it will take a while for us to figure out the recipes. Personally, I will get my 40 (90 shovel to go!) and let it ride. If Disney announces, then I'll max shovel while I wait for some other toon to figure out the combo's and then continue gardening on 9's, 10's or whatever. I know someone will post the combo's here, and I don't mind looking at spoilers!

I keep having this daydream that Disney might do something like changing the "desert" around the wheelbarrow into a garden - but only IF you have six FULLY MAXED gardening toons... LOL.

So you can stop my daydream by telling me you have 6 fully maxed garden toons and still have the dreary old desert! (Or is it a giant sandbox for doodles??!)

Oh well, it was good while it lasted. At least I won't have to plant 32 sets of 8 bean flowers on 6 toons to find out!!!

I didn't think about the doodles "playing" in the sandbox, but that's probably because I have cats...

Woo Hoo! to all of you! My question is, how many flowers do you have to plant to get to that next level? It seems like I have been planting 5 beaners forever!!! It's so boring. I train doodles at the same time as gardening just to pass time.

Oh my, it's been sooo long sinse I did gardening.

I actually had to check my old notes

You need to plant 160 five beanners...lol and 160 six beaners.

Then 320 seven beaners and 320 eight beaners

That is if you want to max completely, if not just plant the five diffrent eight beaners.
