Help please

For some reason when I attempt to download the latest excel chart from first post to my desktop it is not latest version, ie the rose, pansy and daisy are not on there.
Any ideas as to what I might be doing wrong? I tried overwriting old chart and also dl'ing with a new name. Neither worked.

Hehee sorry I have not updated the Excel file yet. I am not a test toon and I get my screen shots from Crimson Dynamo to include in the file.

I hope to have them later today and will post back when it is updated.

Sorry about that

No need for apology...just wanted to make sure I was not doing something wrong.
And a big THANKS for maintaining this chart. I find it most helpful when planning my garden.

Lightbulb Count me in in the search

I have noticed that the grey bean has not been used at all in any of the combinations. I am on the 4 bean level right now (4 days left). I should be able to help in the 7 or 8 bean level sometime next month.

The 8 bean combinations are going to be immense but not as bad as you predict. First, you will know the first bean color for each flower and if we can eliminate the grey bean then it might become managable with enough help. There will still be 10 million combinations at the 8 been level. ((8^7)*5) and better yet on average the searchs will be found half way throught the search process. So you should be able to find all the combinations with 5 million attempts. This is still a ton of work but it is alot better than 43 million.

I just planted the second level garden statue and it required 4 grey beans. Not sure about flowers tho. I am still working in the 4 bean combo area. Will check back for updates.

It's very difficult for those of us that are Color blind. I'm not really complaining. It takes me 5-10 attempts before I get it right on each combination, but that's ALOT better than 5-10million attempts without this thread.

Just thought I'd point out that there isn't any way to know what color those beans are unless you can actually see colors. O well I can get close. Orange, Green and Red are the same to me. blue Purple same. Pink, Cyan, Silver all the same. But that gets me close enough.

Hmm very good point with regards to being colour blind. I will have a think and see what I can come up with.

In the meantime if you are using the Excel version and have trouble with a combo try this:-
1) Click the drop down arrow in the "Flower name" cell and select the flower from the list. This will then only display that flower in the chart.
2) Next use the drop down arrow's on beans 1 through 8 and it will give you the name of the bean in text.

Best to try yourself as I am not sure if I am making sense, but it will look something like this:-
In this example I first selected "Upsy Daisy" and then select the drop down for the 3rd bean. As you can see the only bean in the list is Cyan.

Doctor Cliff Hucklefoot I have added download links to colour blind friendly versions of the charts to the first post. Please let me know if they work okay for you or if I need to make any changes.

I have also updated the Excel spreadsheet with a colour blind friendly tab. Also if you hover the mouse over the first cell in each row you will get a pop up with the bean combos in text like this:-

Note:- Although I have updated the Excel sheet I have not uploaded it yet as I am still waiting for the image of the Smarty Pansy

Great chart, and thanks for making it available not only in excell, but in pdf as well!

Keep up the good work guys! I'm still on 3 bean combos on my main toons (I'm a TTUK player and we are not allowed on test) so I'm not much help in 6 and 7 bean combos researches hee hee, but it is thrilling to lead the results of everyone in discovering new flowers and bean combinations! WTG!

Thumbs up Awesome Chart, thanks!

Thanks for your hard work in putting this together. Hopefully, they're will still be a few combinations left for me to help search for by the time I get caught up.
