help with mac

OK - so how do you defeat the vp with a mac-probook. I cannot throw a pie and jump. To jump I need to hold three buttons with two hands one of those buttons being the directional button. I really want to fight the vp and the cj but without some help I am lost. Thanks. Izzie

Wow, that is a problem, the buttons are NOT spaced well at all on macbooks/macbook pros, not for toontown anyway. There is only one control button and it's on the opposite side of the keyboard from the directional keys.. so you need one whole hand to use that and then it's near impossible to hit delete while still being able to steer your toon with the other hand... Ahh, I have a macbook but usually use my imac to play toontown so I dont have those problems. If anyone knows of some sort of a way to switch second command key to be used as a control button that would be great. Maybe you could actually call apple and ask them if there is a way to change the functions of the keys...

To throw a pie, you use the insert key for windows. For Mac, it is fn+delete.
Also on Toontown the function for page up, which on Toontown is look up, is fn+up ; page down is fn+down. To view your gag list, which on windows would be home, press fn+left. The toontask list for windows would be delete on windows, on mac it isn't the delete key, it is fn+right.

There is a way.

Go to System Preferences > Keyboard & Mouse, under the Keyboard tab, on the bottom left-hand corner is "Modifier Keys...", here you can change what function the command key has the option keys, control keys, and the cap locks keys to you your preference.

You could, but there is a much simpler fix.

Hope this helps!
