Problem with jumping and turning

Whenever I try to jump while still turning, it switches windows. It gets really annoying when I'm boss battling, and has caused me to lose before. Does this happen to others? Is there a way to fix it? I think there is some sort of shortcut when you hit an arrow key then control.

The different windows are called "Spaces". This feature is only on the Mac OSX Leopard processing system. They can be very useful, by having different windows up in each space. The shortcut to change spaces is control+up key, down key, left key, and right key. If you would like to turn them off, do this.
Go under the apple menu on the top left-hand screen, hit System Preferences, then press Exposé & Spaces which is under the "Personal" panel. At the top of the Exposé & Spaces window, click on the Spaces button, then un-check Spaces.
This will fix your problem.
