Option key to make different symbols

My best friend Isabel that plays the toon Scarlet makes alot of wierd symbols.She makes up-side-down question marks,big dots, and other wierd symbols. I'm thinking her IMac might have that option key to make the symbols.Because my Windows Vista laptop has no option key. If anyone that reads this that has an IMac that knows if they're IMac has an option key, pm me.

I have a macbook, my option key is also my alt key. it say alt and underneath is option. Hope that is helpful

Well, all you have to do is hold alt/option, and then press a key.

For example, Alt+d=∂ , Alt+Shift+d= Î, Alt+e= ´ If you press Alt+e, then immediately press "e", or "a" will turn out é or á. The same applies for Alt+u, and Alt+i, Alt+n.

on vista or XP, all u have to do is hold down alt and a number on the NUMBER PAD
if you are on a keyboard without a seperate number pad, it wont work!

heres some u can make:
alt+5=♣
alt+3=♥
alt+789=§
so on...theres a thread with a list of all the different combos somewhere on ttc...
