MacBook Pro-- How to VP and CJ?

I got a new MacBook Pro and attempted to CJ today. I couldn't figure out which key to use instead of the insert key. I tried the delete key and every other key on the keyboard but it didn't work. Any help would be appreciated.

Did you try clicking on the picture of the pie/evidence? I don't have a mac, but that's what I do anyway. You can hold the click longer to build up power.

You don't need the insert key, you can just click the picture of the evidence/cream pie at the top of your screen. If you did know that and just don't prefer it, I can go get mine and I'll try to figure it out.

I knew that and I did that during my CJ. But it was very hard since there is only one CTRL key and that is not by the arrows. So I guess I can't give the same performance I used to give when using my PC. Thanks for all the help

Yes, use the mouse button to click on the pie icon at the top of the page.

As the second post said, it is fn+delete. The only problem I have with that is that toontown seems to have an odd bug when using the fn key with arrows. (trying to move and pie, or move and hit home/end for tasks/gags) Sometimes my toon gets "stuck" going in one direction until I press that same directional arrow again.

This is a particular pain on the VP battles where I am trying to inch forward between pie throws. If I'm not careful, my toon can get stuck moving forward and running into the VP. It's quite annoying. The only solution I've found was the earlier suggestion to use an external keyboard that has separate insert/home/end keys.

I play on a MacBookPro. In VP and CJ I keep my right hand on the arrow keys, my left ring finger on the ctrl key, and my thumb on the trackpad button (with my cursor on the pie). The only annoying thing about this setup is when I want to speedchat...

I find the new trolley matching game worse - since fn-del is the only way to turn cards. But my wife and I can usually clear the board - both on Mac laptops.

I figured that out after a little time. Now, I am getting much more used to my macbook pro and am able to match my performance with the pc. I also got a external keyboard and mouse so that my trackpad and keyboard won't get too dirty so there isn't really a problem anymore. Thanks.
