it shouldn't be. If you are running osX you should be having a better time with lag than with a 360. At least the blue screen of death is never to return.

hmm. how much RAM do you have? if you have less than a gb, i'd reccomend looking into purchasing and installing some more.

My Mac lags when I am in a crowded district, especially in any crowded playground. When I go on to the streets, the lag isn't as pronounced. (My daughter, who has a PC, says that this happens to her also.) When I go to a less crowded district, the lag stops. Also, lag can happen on my computer after playing for a long period of time. I restart my computer, and things return to normal. Make sure you have closed any tabs or other applications when playing - especially if you are low on RAM.

Have fun!

No Mac Lag here

I haven't had any Mac Lag issues, but I have 2 gigs of RAM in a 1.83Ghz CoreDuo Macbook Pro. If you only have 512 megs of RAM in your Mac, I would expect problems. 1 gig is a realistic minimum.

Red face

Guys, usually the graphics card is the cause of lags on the newer intel macs. A breif list:

MacBook - Intel Graphics, not good for gaming.
Macbook Pro - ATI/Nvidia with 128-256 VRAM, great for gaming (battery goes down to the pooper though)

Mac Mini - Integrated Graphics, not good for gaming.
iMac - Lowend ($999) has Intel Integrated Graphics, not good for gaming. All other models have ATI/Nvidia with 128-256 MB Vram.
Mac Pro - Choice of ATI/Nvidia Graphics, anything you want, great for gaming. If you have this, you can upgrade your graphics card if it isn't working, as this is a standard PC box.

You should have 512 MB or more ram also.
