Here are some of the basic specs for the comp that WAS MINE now my dad wants it.It's not thebest compter but here it is.
-Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005 Update Rollup 2 with SP2
-AMD 64 Athlon 3500+ 2.19 Ghz
-1 GB RAM
-ATI Xpress 200 Inergrated graphics (128 mb shared memory) plus I hate inergrated
-250 GB HD (mostly the reason why my dad wants it)
But if I get a Mac what should I get? Should I get a MacBook,Mac mini,or an iMac?I'm only picking out of those 3.I need something cheapt but I also need something good too.
So far I'm thinking Mac mini since it's the cheapest thing there (NOT INCLUDING THE KEYBOARD MOUSE OR MONITOR) but still can run Toontown and sooner Mac OS X Leopard and boot camp to(hopefully) run Windows Vista on it.Also I can choose any monitor rather than stick with the same one with a iMac but still an iMac is pretty good.
What do you guys recommend if I get a Windows PC?

Last time I checked, iMacs (even the MacIntels) use Integrated Graphics. You say you hate integrated graphics. Therefore, just build another x86 or x64 monster. I wouldn't spring for Vista just yet (I got to beta test it RC1), but at least with a DIY PC you can put a mega graphics card in a PCI-E (or two and use SLI) and run the latest games without letup. To be frank, I have used lots of computers with Integrated Graphics, and they ****! The adapter card version of the same onboard chips get more bandwidth, almost double the rendering speed, and don't eat your system memory for lunch.
Still want a Mac? There is a way to install MacOSX for x86 on computers like the Intel Core 2 Duo, Pentium 4, and even AMD systems. As long as your graphics is ATi, your audio and Ethernet are integrated, you can have a non Mac running OSX86. I did this before, but I died when I realized that there are no nVidia drivers for OSX86. Could it have something to do with the "mother of all motherboards and no room to upgrade" archiecture?
EDIT: I just saw a video on you tube of a 3DMark05 Benchmark on a Mac mini. The only test that will run is "Return to Proxycon" where a bunch of space pirates land on a starship and shoot everything that moves. The detail is reeeeeeealy high and will put to shame anything that is not "brand spanking new" in terms of graphics cards. Anyho, the Mini ran at a real speedy 3 FPS through the whole benchmark. My OC'ed P4 computer (3.15 GHz) with a nVidia GeForce 7600 GS AGP (a budget card, not even a good one like the 7600 GT) can do 15 FPS through that entire benchmark.
This will make a BIG difference when you do end up playing games that require your GPU to work for a change. It hurts to have to turn DOWN all the graphics options to the minimum to squeeze out that extra frame per second (9 FPS vs 10 FPS, gimme 10 any day), at the expense of everything on screen looking like big colored squares.
While I respect the performance of an iMac in terms of moviemaking and desktop publishing, a powerful gaming rig it is not.
If you think I am just a Windows fanboy, that I am not. I Have used Windows 3.1 all the Way to Vista RC1, then Linux RedHat 7.1 to Fedora Core 4, SuSE Linux, Ubuntu, Knoppix, and even the SLAX that boots from my 1 GB Flash Drive. Good to use when you don't want to go through using Windows on a school computer. I once installed OSX on my P4 computer, and it worked well, aside from the problem involving my nVidia graphics and Marvell Gigabit Ethernet. I also a long time ago used an LC-II with OS 7.0 on it! I have two iMac G3s stashed downstairs, one that will run Ubuntu PPC and the other that will still be OS9.
