Grats to Prof Z, q's on run reporting

Had an exciting VP run last night with a 26-laff super, and another player who was either completely oblivious or deliberately sabotaging. With some great teamwork from the rest of us and a bit of good luck, Prof. Z(something) successfully made it through the whole shindig and danced for Franz Neckvein. We lost the teamwork-challenged individual during the pie fight.

The run has not been posted to the victories list, and this isn't the first time a run I've been on has been omitted. So rather than griping, I guess I'll just step up- but I don't know how. What's the best way to document suits and groupings? Screenshots?

Hi Baron! I love reporting, and find myself taking notes even in non-CCG runs! Here is what I do, and I am sure you will get great ideas from other members.

I take a screenie in the elevator once the doors shut (easier to see the names without the names of toons in the lobby) Keep your finger ready to take one when no one is talking if possible (can't see their names if they are talking). I might do one from both sides - front and back - if there are short suits I can't see.

Once in I quickly write down who is on my side and their laff. Between rounds is enough time to get the other names and their laff. I then just put c by the ones in my cog rounds and s by the ones in my skele round. If one goes sad I put a frown by their name - then c, s, or p for when they did.

All that said - I rarely have time to look at the screenies, so my reports usually do not have suit levels. Just do as much as you can, the important part is the number who danced I think. You can put "unknown" for name and you are not required to put laff or suit levels in. It takes only a couple of minutes to take the names down and enter them in.

Remember that if a toon Disco's, they are not counted as being on the elevator - for example if one DC's you would put 7 of 7 danced rather than 7 of 8.

Thanks for wanting to do the reports! For me it got addictive. There are a few toons out there that can always be counted on to do the report so if they are on my elevator I know it will get done, and generally before I can get to it! But usually you will find it is up to you. Have fun!

</p>I develop a form in MSPublisher for collecting the info needed for reporting. It has a place for toon name, vp/cfo, reward, district and date/time. It has place for 10 toons (if you collect prior to leaving info) It allows you to select which toons together in either battle, their laff and suit (gathered from screen shots later or in lobby). The extra line in lower boxes has been deleted as it was a line copy that I used to construct the form. Feel free to copy this if you wish by right clicking in the form and saving it as a picture.

To do a report you have to "register" at www.ccg.toontowncentral.com ...
Then you go to the the victories tab (see left side) then select victories form (upper right) and enter the data.

Registration and reporting is logged by IP.

Eventually we're going to move to a single signon for TTC and the subsite.

Myself, I run CFO more often than the VP. In the Boss Battle, I take a screen from the front of the elvator(in case of some small suit being hidden when looking from the back), then I take another one from the back of the elevator right as we see it(so no one is talking), then I quickly write down the names on my side once I get in, and record the laff. Then I watch the names coming from the other side of the Boss in SpeedChat phrases. If my side finishes before the other side, I run over to the other side and take down laff as they are finishing up. If their side finishes up before my side, once the pie/crane battle is over, I hurry through the talk of the rescued toon/Mata Hairy, and back to the playground. Once in the playground, I wait for the unrecorded toons to show up, and then I record their laff there. Once I log off of Toontown, I bring up my screenshots, and then report the run with laff and suits. Rather complicated, but it gets the job done.

That is exactly the way I do it also unless my girlfriend is on the other side in either battle, then she gives me the toon info.

I'm going to start doing this and give it a try. It's hard for me to multi-task during a battle, but it's about time I try. What happens with multiple reports of the same run? Are they both posted?

I just take multiple screen shots to capture all the info. Write down toon names? "You got to be kidding...".

Just a few presses of the F9 key captures all the info I need for a detailed report.

Again I say, kudos to those that write down the info. Writing down some of those long and sometimes complicated toon names isn't all that easy. I bet most of them that do it are the female gender! They are good at these comlicated multitasking stuff.

My info taking system works pretty good for me - Shot or two in the elevator to get suits/names. During the cog round I take a shot of my side, after the Cog round (during the lull either from being finished first or waiting for the VP to lumber his way to the top level) I click on each toon and take a screenie, sometimes just of laff, sometimes gags aswell (depends on the time I have and if they have unusual gags for level) (usually I turn my back to the group so everyone's name shows up), then during the Skelecog round another quick shot tells me who I fought with and I'm done.

HAHA!! Funny you should say that. To me, looking up the screenies later is way more work than writing it down in the first place, and they don't call me Lazy D for nothing

I'm a teenage guy and I write them all down. Taking screenshots uses too much space in my Toontown folder on my computer.

@Melody McBubble: Too many screenshots that way.
