Stickies & Daily run threads
As some of you have seen, we are cleaning up the stickies on top of the forum.
Right now we have a new CCG : VP & CFO Strategy Guide!, combining the 2 threads we had before and a cleaned up So You Want To Join The CCG! We will have another sticky with JUST the runtimes, and then we will use Rhatso's Guidlines to encompass everything else. When all is said and done there will be 4 permanent stickies: So You Want To Join The CCG! CCG : VP & CFO Strategy Guide! CCG : Runtimes! CCG : Training Guide! With any other sticky being used for temporary purposes. Right now the stickies are all locked. This will ensure a cleaner look to the forum. If anyone feels that there is an overiding reason to not having a particular sticky locked, please post here for discussion. ALSO We are also rolling out NEW Daily Run Threads starting with today (Sunday) and continuing on for the remainder of this week. The other locked daily threads will still be available to read in the hang up section. They were all getting rather large. The same will follow with the General Discussion, Uber thread and Unscheduled run thread. Any current pertinent posts will be moved to the new threads for viewing and further postings. I also think it should be unlocked. Was always nice to see the new toons coming on the runs.
That would be better then everyone starting a thread to let us know they are coming. Quote:

Another Thought..
Just a thought.. I know this thread has forever been called So you want to join the CCG but there are many members who join us for a run but may not add to this thread because they aren't quite sure they want to join. Is there any way we could make a new thread? Like so you want to run with the CCG/Intro thread? Just a thought!

I really like the new stickied, locked threads. It's easy to read, easy to navigate, and easy to find the specific information you want. Hats off to all who made them possible.
 Could we have a separate thread established for those who would like to join us or post their intentions? That way, the "So you want to join the CCG" thread could remain locked and pristine, yet everyone would still be able to post to the separate thread. Maybe the mods could clean up that thread periodically, the way the threads in the secrets forum are routinely purged. The joining thread could have a really catchy title......but my brain is too fried at the moment to come up with anything really good. I'll let you folks work on that one. Violet B.
