Talking Parents & Pups Run II

I would love to organize another run. Unfortunately, with Monday being Halloween, that day is out. It's important to me to not conflict with regularly scheduled CCG runs, so I would like to try for
4 pm pst on Wed. 11/2.
Again, I will be pairing up grand/parents & young 'uns, and will surely need several surrogates.

In our first trial run, due to RL interuptions for a few pairs, I had to do some last minute scrambling and recruit some toons. I would like to avoid that this go-round by having some stand-in toons who would be available to just hang out with each of the groups as back up in case we have a no-show, to help keep the randoms at bay, or for some reason if we have a few last minute sign ups. We would then be able to use these stand-ins to form one more group/escort the randoms through a run.

If you are interested, please pm me the following:

Pup Toon Name, laff, VP suit
Parent Name, laff, VP suit

or, if you can...
Surrogate Toon Name, laff, VP suit
Stand In Toon Name, laff, VP suit

Again, I've got a busy soccer weekend and won't be near a computer until late Sunday. I will reply to your private messages then and will be sending out the district info on Wednesday, a few hours before the run. I am looking forward to hopefully being able to run in this one myself!

I'll send a PM too but in order to keep this bumped up.....

Count me in. One of my toons + one of my kids' toons. Most likely Lady Z and USA Cat.

I guess we are going to have to wait until "late Sunday" to get responses.

I went on the first Parents and Pups run and I gotta tell you it was SO much fun! Knowing that I was playing with kids, some of whom were seeing the VP for the very first time was exciting to say the least. The little ones sometimes forget to jump in their awe over trying to throw pies and see everything that's going on so there is a whole new dimension added for us old folk; that being we gotta pie the VP AND our youngsters at the same time!

Out of the three groups in the inaugural run we only had one saduality, and we had a whole lot of very happy little kids.

This is such a wonderful way to introduce our little ones to the world of CCG and VP runs.

I'll be there as a surrogate, an extra or whatever you need. My son might have his toon ready by then for HIS first run, I'll send you a PM if he gets his tasks done in time. (No, you can't practice your violin you have to finish your toontasks!)

Thanks again,

GiGi

Thanks for the replies and private messages. We just got in and are exhausted, so I'll reply more tomorrow, but just wanted to let those who are interested know that I'm back and will be looking forward to putting this together

Poppy,

I want to say thanks for organizing this again. Crazy Orville and family will not be able to make this one though. The time puts it in the middle of church, so we'll have to try for the next one.

I hope everyone has fun. I know that the last one was a blast.

I can be either stand in or surrogate, as my 'pup' is old enough to be a parent. Beside he's not near as addicted as his mother and I are .

One of my toons should be able to be a surrogate or standby. Sounds like a lot of fun.

Um....I don't think so Missy!! Work shmirk...isn't it you that always tells me that Life gets in the way of toontown, not that toontown gets in the way of life? Can't you call in sick, or better yet...can't we find a really good excuse...Um, Kathy can't come to work today because she has piethrowitis, or how about an anvil fell on your head and you have a concussion? Yeah, yeah, that's the ticket.

Please try hard to make it Brains, it won't be the same without you
