As I said in the other thread, I was thinking of leaving TT before going on the CCG runs at the suggestion of a friend. My memories are that almost every CCG run I go on I enjoy myself and get to see how well everyone can work together to accomplish something. And all this is done basically so others will enjoy a "kid's" game and have fun!
So the CCG has definately breathed life into the game for me. The other thing I really enjoy is that when I am out and about throughout TT, I see so many toons that I recognize from the Cold Caller runs. It's fun recognizing so many toons and knowing that they are decent ppl and players. I may not have them on my friend's list (which is usually full), but, nevertheless, I consider any CCG player a friend and someone I would gladly play with. The CCG ROCKS! (as my kids would say) |

CCG Cheerleaders
Well, our best memory has to be the first one. After she had lost in VP 13 times straight (yikes!), the new TT rule was ,noones allowed down Oak St. (lol). They googled up AJ's orginal post, with a couple more CC on speakerphone, off they went.
With the staff and kids all huddled over the screen, Zman took them in for the fight. The roar that went up after the win will always be remembered. The whole time the kindergarden class was behind us doing their CCG cheer, Lure from the Left, Kill to the Right, Stand up, Sit Down, Fight Fight Fight |

My favorite memories are, of course, related to uberdom.
After virtually giving up on the game when my RL buddies quit playing, I was lucky enough to run into dlite in the sellbot area. After searching for her on TTC, I sent her a PM asking simply if the low laff was a glitch or could anyone accomplish it. I have to tell you that I was quite taken back with the generousity that I received in response from her. Though it took me 3 times deleting and restarting, Duck 'n Cover finally made it. Dee took the time to check on my status and give me hints the entire way. Pssst "You Rock" Additionally, when we found out the laff skip fix was coming, I received many new ccg friends who, without their help, I never would have been able to complete the marathon in time to finish Purr C. Thanks to all that helped me on way. Many of you play so rarely anymore, or not at all, but you have not been forgotten, nor will you ever be removed from my friends list. |

OK gang, confession time...
King Biscuit and mhr!!! You KNOW how I am with my coffee STOP it!!!! ROFL I am going to teach my 4 year old triplets that cheer
I have another one to share since Dawggie mentioned CFO on test. OK I am about to share something I have NEVER shared before OK? So KEEP IT TO YOURSELVES!!!!! PROMISE????? OK here we go. ![]() I was a big toon on test when CFO came out. I spent the first few days it was out, in CFO all day, I remember the first morning going in with Zilly Zillerzilla just to check it out, I have a pic of us in our cute little suits, saying confidently "We can do this!" and another as we went slinking back to the PG....but, as usual, I digress!!! Anyway, I was there when the selfishness started so I quit going. Just like that - QUIT! I couldn't take it. Consequently when it came to open I had never been on a winning team. Of course all my friends here trusted me as an expert so I recited Wizardhawk's Guide to the CFO to them and my secret was safe. I did try going in with friends a couple of times but was embarassed at my obvious lack of skill so I started telling people I was not ready or I didn't have time or didn't feel like it. I decided I like VP a whole lot better and I don't HAVE to like CFO!Along came CCG and I got into running VP's with them....and my friend Sir Biscuit Wonderberry (when are you coming back anyway dude???) talked me into trying for CFO again. I think I was a SC3........Anyhoo, as soon as I get my bucks done and run again I am going to be a Robber Baron......not as great an accomplishment as maxing out I know but HUGE for someone who was as petrified as I was!! And knowing how to CRANE is one of my goals before I get there - thanks to ZigZag!! OK, so now you know my dirty little secret!!! Oh and I STILL do not have my suit on test yet!!

My most memorable CCG moment was my first VP win. I was a 80+ laffer who'd avoided the VP because the 1 and only time I'd ever gone before was a complete and total disaster even if it was with a group of SF's. Sir Monty had already joined the CCG and had been telling me I should try one of their runs. I kept putting it off thinking that if a group of SF's can't pull a VP victory, how could the CCG? Well, he finally nagged me into submission and I tried a run. Aside from him, the only other people I remember being there was Deputy Monty and Pinkersmirk. I was utterly amazed at how smoothly the run went and how quickly the VP went to the s**** pile. I remember Pink and DM helping me with gag selection and being ever so patient with me. DM's speed chat encouragement and Pink's jokes relieved my nervousness to the point that I was actually having so much fun that I was sad to see the end of the fight.
Since that run, I've only gone on 1 random CFO and that was to help a friend. All of my runs have been with CCG and will continue to be so. It's an awesome group and I'm very proud to be a part of it.

This last Saturday Pinkersmirk, Austin Quackers, Nanner, Duct Tape, Freckles Preciousface and Marshmallard did a revenge run VP with some funny tricks by Marshmallard:
Here we have Marshmallard dancing to her own beat off to the side: (Click picture to enlarge) Next we have Marshmallard apparently full of helium as she lures some cogs: (Click picture to enlarge) Here we have Marshmallard trying to lure the cameraman in with her $10 Bill: (Click picture to enlarge) And finally we have Freckles calling her newest SOS Card (Marshmallard Five Star Lure): (Click picture to enlarge) |
