I'm sorry, I'm not joining, but rodents are one of the sweetest, cutest, affecionate animals you could have as a pet. I have a geunie pig named peter Pig, and he's sooooo cute! Unfortuinutly, he lost his nail because there was a trimming accedent. It was for the best, it'l grow back, but he was bleeding alot on himself and he kept hurting and doing little screams when it was on him. I geuss that his nail pushed soo many things such as the floor, it finally came off.
Poor Piggy. PS:Sorry that it's off-topic, but I was just trying to make a point. |

i just happend to notice this post and had to put in my $0.02. This is not meant to make anyone feel stupid... this is a very wide misconception. Rabbits are not rodents. Rabbits are one of 3 species in the lagomorph order. Other lagomorphs include hares and pikas. Rabbits are actually more closely related to horses (believe it or not) as they have similarities in their diet and method of digesting food. The main difference is that rodents have one row of teeth on upper and lower but lagomorphs have two rows of upper incisors.
Again this was not meant to make anyone feel stupid but is only to serve as informational. As a rabbit lover, I simply want to try to help clear up this common misconception. |
