The Silent but Deadly Group
There are those who think that killing cogs with speed is preferable, and so insist that sound is the only way to go.
But if you want to learn to defeat cogs with FINESSE, play a toon that has no sound! Don't let the prejudism of others stop you... I recommend anyone with space on their account make a toon with no sound, just to enhance their skills. I would like to start a regular meeting of toons who do not have sound, interested in joining together for merits, either in sellbot HQ, cashbot HQ, or both. At first I would like to start a list of toons and their stats, those who are past LOM without sound, or if not past LOM, those who intend on not taking sound. In addition, I would also like to find out when the best day/night and time for a regular meeting for runs would be for the majority of toons who are interested. Thanks guys, I know there should be enough toons out there to get at least a small group going! Super Chunky MacMonkey all gags maxed (no sound) 109 laff hollywood 30 - currently needs 2 parts all merits currently 4 cash parts carrying 3 cash part tasks - generic cogs

I think it's a great idea, however all my toons have sound.
 Maybe that's why you haven't had a response yet, I haven't met too many toons without sound. Bump this up every so often, it'll probably just take some time for enough people without sound to find it.

Soundless toons rock
 I have two toons without sound. both are past LOM, Luke Warmwater, and Chee Chee are the toon names, they are in my sig.

our toon is Midnight, 104laff maxd, nooooo sound. he's a Mover&Shaker with easy breezy merits. only has 2 cash parts with task to defeat 25 bullion mints for one part (ouch that really smarts!), another to defeat 50 skels in bullion, generic cog task, and defeat 300 (I think) sellbots anywhere. This toon may be operated by me or our kid. me lately... it seems with the coming of cash hq he is regretting not having picked sound ever more. it shouldnt be seen it as a handicap... totally rocks having both trap and drop!
my best playing times are usually during the week, daytime, before 3pm PST. some nites after 9pm is good as well.

So far three have responded. That give us enough to do any factories or mints we might want to do. If and when we get to the point where we are ready to talk about a soundless VP or CFO, I am pretty sure we can rustle up some more toons (I know a few more not responding here).
What day and time would be best for you? For me, any weeknight after about 8pm central works for me. (after this week)

I want to join your group!
I have a 106 toon "tinker cat" that is a sbd too. I have lots of very nice friends but recently I was harrassed by a toon in the bullion mint for being soundless. It does take longer to get through with a soundless toon- but when I was choosing the gags I just thought sound seemed boring compared to the other gags- style over substance? I like playing her the way she is.
Tinker cat is almost a Robber Baron and is a Mr Holly. My desire in playing is to have fun and I am pretty laid back unless I see someone being mean. That is the only thing that really upsets me! I would love to play with other soundless toons! PM me! |

I'm so sorry I've not been in toontown lately. I did just get back from the hospital and my husband was conscious for a short while for us to talk to him. It was sad because of course he has respirator in mouth, cannot speak but he cried. I even sent him love from toontown buds and told him of some beautiful flowers a couple of toons sent. Have fun on those mint runs and tnt and drop some pianos on those Cogs. have fun

K, that is just the sweetest! Blow up and drop some powerful gags on those cogs on your soundless runs! I can't wait to come back again. I'm not seeing updates on this so wondering if you're all having a fun time
Once I ended up in bullion mint with two, yes TWO other soundless toons.. one was a 100laffer about maxd on all and the other was a higher level toon (don't recall name) but what a surprise I remember that was when I said.. as I do alot "Lets use sound, sorry I cant" so they know I don't have it in case they didn't check first. Then I heard sorry I cant from 2 others. It was too cute. I made friends with one but cannot even remember his name right now (non-sf). Y'all have fun.
