Post CCG : CFO Run Results

Not sure if this is the place to discuss the CFO runs. KBB please move this to another thread if there is already one for this.

I entered the lobby to find 3 other toons waiting and after a bit more started to arrive. The cog round went well with us only taking a few hits.
When we moved on to the CFO battle 3 of us moved to cranes from the start. Not sure what happened but for a while we didnt have anyone on the 4th crane. We did some good damage at the start but after a while the goons started getting heavy so I was unable to operate the crane without taking damage. I attempted to change cranes to where the goons weren't so heavy and at the same time Cool Rosie did an awesome job of trying to move with me to keep me covered. We had the CFO red but unfortunately we were unable to take him down after the red-hatted goons started coming out.
Sorry guys! Lets try again!

Just from experience even though it is hard you should try to have stompers dedicated to covering each side of the CFO. This seems to help most in the end when toons tend to panic running around looking for toon-up. If you are a stomper in the last part of the battle watch for the few remaining crane operators and stick to them doing your best to keep the goons off of them.

You can use this thread or put it in the daily run threads for the time being... Either way...

Hoping to have a reporting mechanism/database up this week.

This is why I posted a guide for the CCG to consider as its main strategy for runs. This battle is MUCH easier with the full zone defense in action and if every toon here was pointed to learning that concept before going on a CCG CFO run, the results would be a dramatic increase in victory runs.

With as few as 4 knowing the strategy going in, you still make it much more likely that you will win. With 4 you can still have a couple on stomp and have each take one door. The other random stompers will help with whatever side they happen to be running around on lol.

Has anyone posted a guide to using the crane? I've only done one CFO run and it was successful, but I didn't even attempt to use the crane. I was in with a talented bunch and left the crane to them while I stomped.

However, it would be nice to know any strategies for using a crane if I ever need to get on one for self-preservation.

This thread is fine for this (for now at least )

That was a fun run - we were so close too. We lost Eddie to a disco, and the 8th toon was Lady Vicky Petaltoes who went sad about 2/3 of the way through.

Better luck next time - You Rock!!!

Try my complete guide to the CFO battle located as a sticky message in the CogHQ forum. It has a ton of details about every aspect of this battle.

8 Loaded
8 Danced for (can't remember the Unite phrase)

Good ol' Flapjack Rockensocks SC2
Princess Freckles SC(?)
Big Jake Flipperbocker SC3
Boo Boo Wonderphooey SC3
Pretty Puppy TW4
Big Nutty McGoober (PP?)
Pickles Bananamonkey (PP?)
Crazy Furball Fuzzyfoot NC6

Cog battle was a piece of cake. CFO battle started off kinda slow paced as goons seemed to be lacking a little, but the CFO corrected that problem fairly quickly. The CFO was only capped by a safe one time that I can remember, but it was quickly removed and we repeated the goon bashing on his tiny little register head. Towards the end, the battle started to get a bit goon heavy as usual, but luckily the CFO only needed a couple more good hits which were easily administered via red hats and a couple of safes.
Excellent teamwork on this run.

Thursday 2/24 1:30PM EST

King Beany Beaniebumper
zman
Lady Lefty McQuack - Sad in safe throw
Obscurity
Another toon
And another
And another
And finally one more

Sorry - forgot to take screenshots - But we were all Short Changes except for one toon - who I think was a Penny Pincher.

Well zman is no longer a Short Change lvl1 That was a fun run. And let me say - z, you are a natural at the crane. Even managed to nail him with a safe for 40+ pts of damage - Nice Shot!!!!

Looking forward to even more runs.

I see you posted our run here. I posted in the day specific run.. ! Well, at least we got it in. I'm sitting here with a couple I haven't taken time to log.

Hopefully we will soon be able to choose a "CFO run" option from the CCG website.

8/8 loaded

1/8 (me) danced for +20 toonup

Toons loaded were:
Master Hector
Strangely Brown
ride
Lady Bumblebee (I think)
someone 1 (Short change 4)
someone 2 (a number cruncher)
someone 3 (short change 1)
someone 4 (short change something)
Everyone was a short change except for someone 2 and I.
Everyone except me went sad in the crane round. Oddly, almost all the goons were on 1 side, so the stompers there were overwhelmed. Eventually, everyone still left went sad when he was blinking red. I barely finished.

4-2-05 12pm CST CFO battle

Having missed the vp battle, I waited for the toons from one to join them for a CFO and here they are:

Granny Petunia Hulasnoop – NC8
Deputy Dynowoof – BC6
Dippy Gigglemarble – PP2
Sir Wacko Wackyboom – RB14

Cricket Crinklesnout – SC1
Skinny Spunky Bananabouncer – PP4
Koool Kat – MB? (tag hiding his suit)
B.J. – SC5

A successful load and a slow cog battle led to an efficient CFO battle where he was thorough romped by superior toons. Glad to have been in such a group of toons to battle the CFO. Yea team, who all danced for a TOW 40laff toonup.

I missed the vp again, and made it to this CFO battle.

Sir Wacko Wackyboom – 112 – RB15
Deputy Dynowoof – 108 – BC7
B.J. – 110 – PP5
Lady Marigold Feathertoon – 105 – SC?
Princess Dinky Twincklebubble – 105 – LS10
Hopper – 194 –SC2
Ricky – 105 – MB8
Good Ole Max – 105 k- RB14

A good cog battle and better CFO. The stomping was excellent and craning second to none, giving the CFO a fatal train ride. The closing door hide the short change's suit size.

Eight of 8 danced for TOW max toonup
