CCG : Uber Toon VP Runs
Our Uber discussion thread is getting so long; I thought it would make sense to start a new thread on which to report our runs.
12/28/04 8/8 Danced for Shelly Seaweed Lady Beany Beaniebumper -- 49 laffs, CC 5 Nurse Dish -- 50 laffs, Hollywood 11 Strawberries -- 47 laffs, Telemarketer Mighty Mouse -- 47 laffs, Telemarketer Baby Lefty Wonderwoof -- 52 laffs, CC4 Dr. Painless Dentist -- 50 laffs, Name Dropper 6 Good ol Zigzag Jabbertoon V -- 48 laffs, Two-face 6 Wendy Storm -- 48 laffs, Hollywood 31 This was a great run and tons of fun! It included just the right amount of missed lures and stubborn cogs to keep us in suspense and on the edge of our seats, but in the end we stomped 'em! This was the second time in her career when Wendy literally ran out of gags. That 40 gag bag sometimes provides a bit more of a challenge than I like  Thanks to a great team who more than made up for my shortcomings! The pie throw was a breeze, ya' all rocked that joint!

Wow, didn't realize you could only carry 40 gags. Thats gotta put a strain on things. That was a fun VP. Whoever was stunning the VP in that group.... wow. He didn't really have a chance. Good job everyone.

Deputy Monty Reports that on:
Dec. 28, 2004 Uber 8/8 Danced for Baker Bridget +Chee Chee 48 TM4 +*Midnight Rose 46 ND7 +Monkey See 47 CC5 +Strangely Brown II 46 TM6 *Princess Stacy Sweetiebean 50 TF9 *Moneky Do 47 CC5 *Silly Rainbow Dandandyfoot 47 TM2 Chewstick 47 CC3 + Together in Cog Round * Together in Skele Round Last Updated: 12-29-2004 09:09 AM I was going to take Milky to this run but found out he couldn't go into the lobby as his suit was not ready. So, grabbed Midnight which, thankfully was already gagged for VP, and went for it. Classic run with no variations from the keep the little cogs around til the end, lure-left/kill-right strategy. Of course you use a few more gags that way. Midnight entered the skelecog round with 1 creme pie and 3 cakes. She had plenty of squirt and lure though. Funny thing, she ended the round with that creme pie and just a few less cakes. The first group of skellies we faced proved to be a bit of a challenge and Midnight got down to 6 laff. That's when she took a page from Little Pink Bunny's book and pulled a "toons hit" card out so that tu and lure would give us new life. After that...except that her $10 didn't seem to attract anyone...everything went like clockwork. Super teamwork...easy pie fight. Great fun...well..except guys it was almost TOO easy! None of my sarcastic speedchat phrases seemed appropriate so I just kept quiet. Now Midnight is in the "fat suit" Glad Hander business!

So glad that both teams made it with everyone dancing!
 Noticed that we had a couple of ubers new to our runs and wanted to welcome Nurse Dish and Dr Painless Dentist. Hope to see both of you again! All Uber run tonight:
I thought I would add a reminder post of our Tuesday run times and districts over this way, in case anybody still needs one.
Our usual run time has been 10 p.m. EST at CrazyGrove. If it is too busy Funnyboro is the backup district.

I copied the time from the Pinkersmirks post on the other thread. I was sure we were meeting an hour from now, but when I saw the time, I ran to Crazy Grove. Nobody is there yet, so it must be 10 p.m. EST. Sorry for the confusion. I'll see ya all in about an hour. Phew!

Thru excellent teamwork from each member, we got through both rounds without much trouble. The pie fight was a breeze as usual. Our teams worked like clockwork and the VP barely knew what hit him! Congratulations Good ol' Zigzag Jabbertoon V on making Hollywood tonight! Woooooo Hoooooo! Our under 50 laff uber toons are making history! Good job everybody! On a side note, a straggling 103 laff toon entered our lobby as we were getting ready to leave. He must have checked our laffs out, cause he kind of went the other way after he saw us. (We checked his gags out and hoped to get the elevator down without him--hee hee!) We are sooooooo scary! Attached is a photo of our spooky group. Would you get on the elevator with any of these goofs?

Tues Night Uber Run
8/8 Danced for Barnacle Bessie
+Dawn That 48 Laff Ben There 48 Laff +Monkey See 48 Laff Monkey Do 48 Laff Dr Painless Dentist 50 Laff +Nurse Dish 50 Laff +Moma Quackers 50 Laff Ganner 50 Laff +Together For Skels We loaded the elevatory easily leaving a few ubers behind on the platform. I was so happy to hear that they were able to get enough together for a second group! For both rounds we had the same toons sided together. Once we got in sync the toons on my side played great. From Bens side heard that they had a few problems with a toon going for the opposite cogs as everyone else a few times which caused a couple of them to get really low in laff once. I had a feeling the pie throw would rock since we had 2 of the best CCG stunners on our run! Monkey See and Do Thanks for a Great Run! Dawn now has 2 Barnacle Bessies!  Such powerful SOS cards she doesn't know what to do with her BAD self!
