ALL Dust Bunnies will be expected to follow these guidelines. The purpose of the guidelines is NOT to be "bossy" or "mean"...but to ensure that the group will be a happy one.

WHAT THE GROUP IS

The Dust Bunnies is a growing group of, well...bunnies...determined to save Toon Town from the cogs. While Bouncyville is our "base of operations", you're likely to see us almost anywhere!

WHO CAN JOIN

ANYONE is welcome to join, regardless of age, as long as they are willing to start a new toon. I DO ask that all Dust Bunnies be able to sf chat...just to make communication easier.

Because of the type of group this is, communication and teamwork is essential. If you have a hard time getting along with others or working together as a team, this is NOT the group for you.

MAKING YOUR BUNNY

All Dust Bunny's should be identical: short and round, with brown shorts and an orange shirt. There is a "guide" on the group's web page (http://home.hvc.rr.com/dbunnies/) to help you with this.

Once you make your bunny, PM me a code and then post about 20-25 in the thread titled "Dust Bunnies - Codes" for the other Dust Bunnies. Be SURE to PM me a code, so that you can access my estate for events and meetings.

All gag selections are up to you. You can advance your toon as fast or as slow as you like. However; we will have new members occasionally, and everybunny should be willing to pitch in and help them along the way.

GUIDELINES AND RULES

The biggest rule I have is that, as a Dust Bunny, you maintain good toonsmanship. By this I mean BE NICE. There is to be no fighting among toons...whether they are fellow Dust Bunnies or not.

Here are a few other guidelines and rules to be aware of. Most of them are simple common courtesy:

1. If you get to a building, and a non-Dust Bunny toon is there waiting, do NOT call three more Dust Bunnies to join you. They were there first...either go with them, or find your own building.

2. There is only one president, vice president, and secretary of the group. That would be me, Julie, and Lori. If someone ELSE tells you you have to or cannot do something, check with us first. If you are not me, Julie, or Lori...do NOT be bossing other toons around. This includes telling people what gags to choose in battle.

3. Have patience. This is ESSENTIAL.

4. Work as a team...even if it's not something that helps your task, it helps your gag points. ...and even if it doesn't, it helps another toon. When you help someone with their tasks, they will be more likely to help you with yours in the future!

5. I ask that all of you be able to sf chat for a reason. It makes communication easier. Don't just use speedchat and ask someone to teleport to you. Let them know WHY. Do NOT ask someone who is further along in the game to stop what they are doing and come to you, only to ask them to help you teleport to another playground or to see your doodle. It's one thing to ask for help when you NEED it, but don't be greedy or lazy. We'll ALL be glad to help...as long as you don't abuse it...and as long as YOU are willing to help when asked. DON'T expect others to help you if you are unwilling to help others when needed. Ask for help when you need it, but don't get upset if someone is too busy to help you at the moment.

6. You can have non-Dust Bunny friends on your list, if you choose to; however, Dust Bunnies come first. If you need to clear space, it needs to be a non-Dust Bunny that you clear. ...and if it comes down to working with a Dust Bunny or a non-Dust Bunny, you should be working with a Dust Bunny. We are a group...that means we work together as a team.

7. Please ASK before you teleport to another Dust Bunny. If you ask someone to teleport to you, be sure to let them know WHY. When a friend logs on, give them a few minutes to get settled before you bombard them with whispers. A lot of people like to have a chance to check their gags and catalogs when they first log in.

8. Please treat all toons...whether they are Dust Bunnies or not, and regardless of their age...with respect.

9. IF you have a problem with a Dust Bunny's behavior, or see a pattern of behavior which is upsetting, let me know. I'll do whatever I can to help.

ANY toons who cannot follow these guidelines (which may be updated as necessary) will be removed from the group. Once a Dust Bunny is asked to leave the group, they are no longer an official member. I cannot force them to delete their toon, but I can do my best to make sure that they don't cause further problems in the group. For this reason, once a Dust Bunny has been asked to leave the group, all other Dust Bunnies MUST remove them from their friend's list. This is the only exception to the "non-Dust Bunny friends" policy described below (in the Frequently Asked Questions and Answers section).

1. How can you tell each other apart?
You can't...just go with it! LOL

2. Can I have non-Dust Bunny friends on my friend's list?
Yes, you can. However; once your list fills up, non-Dust Bunny friends will need to be removed to add new Dust Bunnies who join.

CASUAL FRIDAYS!!!

Friday will be known as "Casual Friday". On Friday's ONLY, you can wear ANY outfit you want to.

DUST BUNNY VP RUNS!!!
We currently have two Dust Bunny VP runs scheduled each week at the following times:
Wednesday night at 6:00 PT/8:00 CT/9:00 ET
Saturday afternoon at 2:00 PT/4:00 CT/5:00 ET

Any Dust Bunny with at least 50 laff points may join in.

WEDNESDAY MEETINGS!!!

We will have a meeting each Wednesday night at 4:00 PT/6:00 CT/7:00 ET. You MUST either attend that meeting or PM me beforehand to let me know you won't be there. If you CANNOT attend the weekly meeting, PM me with the following information: your first name, your Dust Bunny's laff points, and your gags and levels BEFORE the meeting, or you will be removed from the group. If you do not attend at least two meetings per month, you will be removed from the group. (If that happens, and you are removed from the group, PM me and we will discuss adding you back in.)
