News Flash! CCG Uber-Noobs go Hollywood!

The CCG should be proud. Two of its uber-noob (under 50 Laff) members made Mr. Hollywood in a joint fun last night. This is what the CCG is all about!

Little Wilbur Frecklefish (me) and Tiki Toon made a run with several friends and jointly achieved Mr. Hollywood status, with only 86 Laff between them. Without the constant support of the CCG I don't think this would have been possible. It goes to show several things:

- The CCG is an awesome group, and a great concept
- Laff levels really don't matter that much
- Teamwork means much more in ToonTown than does individual status
- With enough patience and hard work, almost any level can be achieved

I know there are other uber-noobs who will make it to Mr. Hollywood soon; Princess Marigold Preciouswoof is close, Dottie Com is rising quickly, Mr. E has been working hard at it, and Here Kitty Kitty keeps trying against overwhelming odds at 19 Laff. (He eventually made it at 24 Laf - awesome!)

I want to thank everyone once again for their great support! You guys are great!

I am soooo happy for you guys! Not only is CCG good for toons like you, it's also good for big toons! Toontown would have become boring if it weren't for noobie toons like you guys and the great people I've met through CCG! The CCG has created a whole new task system for me! Hee hee!

May I echo your sentiment about TT being boring if not for the little toons and the GREAT people who play them. I know it takes an "aweful" lot of patience to build a little toon and keep it little. I'm not sure I possess that kind of patience.

Now, when are you going to do the run w/o ANY large toons on the elevator? We all know you can do it...too bad we can't go along and watch.

I am so thrilled that we have accomplished so much and have had so much fun getting to the world of Hollywood! I am ready for all us under 50's Super Noobs to to VP, and I know that we can do it, so what do you all say to setting this up?

I think CCG is great and the Techniques work very well, our run yesterday went to smooth, to me it was almost to easy. :-) With the great teamwork we had, it will be done again.

one question on sooper-noobdom:
"can you get 5 gag tracks and still stay under 50?
or to be under 50 can you only have 4 gag tracks?"

i have 4 gag tracks and my noob is Petra EnderBean, she is about 35 laff.
since 28 laff i have had level 5 throw and squirt, and i am working hard on my toonup and my lure. getting sound would make everything perfect! but i can't seem to get that offer for the fifth gag track. and of course, i am not going to bother with a sixth gag track.

UMT has talked about setting up a simular run and I know J is interested in it as well. Only thing is if you cap it at 50 Sam can't go I think UMT had said keep it under 65 or something like that.

Tiki Toon is a Laff 48, with Twig Rod - 19 species, all caught before the additional new fish came out. she carries 120 Jellybeans, 50 gags, and has Throw, Squirt, Toon up, Lure and Sound. So yes, it is possible, but I will tell you that it is not easy to do. I shopped for task for hours to stay under 50, and still be safe not to go over.

Also, Princess Marigold Preciouswoof is a 50 laff, with 5 gags all maxed also. So it can be done. We can not fish, and have to just ride the trolly for jellybeans.

Yes, you can have 5 tracks. I have done this and have one sf who has as well. We both tried to get the 6th track, but weren't able. We both completed 15 gag tracks but that SOB, "L'il Oldman", decided we weren't worthy to accept final gag training, lol. The best I've seen limits you to 50 laff and 50 gags. Good Luck! Tiki Toon is a 48 with 5 gags all maxed and completed up to track 14, I could not get track 15, and was not willing to take a laff boost or 2 for it.

My question is what do you guys plan on doing with these toons once you've taken them as far as you plan on raising their laff? Alt/f4'ing out? Hee hee. Course all those needing you to make it to fulfil their tasks are going to whine a bit...

Congratulations you guys! Who says little toons can't fight the vp? It just takes team work and pray the lures work :-) I should be coming back to the runs very shortly. I kind of got burnt out on all my factory runs for 3 toons. See you soon!
