The Merits Club!

Do you need lots of long runs for those endless merits? You don't need to be a Hollywood! or a member, just come on by! I would like to do a daily run everyday if possible. Times and days will change, so please check this forum often for revisons.

The only rule is that you dont need to be a member, but to help others in long runs in Giggle Point. So no elevator jumping! And have fun! Also you don't need to be secret friends with anyone or with key members. Just wave and tell a toon that you need "to defeat some cogs" or "I need more laff points". Go with a group! It is that easy. We are all happy to help!

I'm at CDT. All Maxxed except Drop - 5, 103 Laff Tele - 6. I enjoy doing the long runs. Usually mornings 6 - 7 CDT and any time after 9 CDT. Weekends who knows when. Let me know.

Great idea! I'm ALWAYS needing merits on one Holly or the other.

It's always a new experience to try and catch as catch can...I'm amazed at how many ppl are willing to make those long runs with me even though they don't need the merits..and sometimes not even the cogs. Occasionly they do some gag build OTHER than sound and while I usually don't mind..it certainly slows the group down especially if it's a lure/trap build and they are using rakes and marbles.

For me the impossible times are from 11:45 - 12:30 (getting that kindergartener ready for school and delivering him) and from 2:30-3:30 (gotta pick him up).

I'm usually online most mornings after the kiddoes are off to school - CST - would be happy to help too.

I've just reached the stage where the merits are getting a little harder - not impossible, but it might be more fun to do with a group working towards a common goal. Although I do enjoy random runs with different toons too - makes for a more interesting run sometimes, especially with the lower laff toons.

Looks like we have some interest. Anyone is welcome to come, just along as you do a long run with others and play!!! Even CCGs are welcome to come. The first meeting will take place in Gigglepoint, starting today! We will meet in the pit. Just wave! Of coarse this will need to be orgainized since we will need groups between 2 to 4. If you only have time for one run-thats okay. I am hoping for atleast a couples of run per time schedule. See below for schedule times. I hope this works out.

First I want to thank Lady Gwen personally for helping me on March 31st when I made my first run with the CCG. You and the others on that inaugural run are credited with Featherphooeys success - Thanks.
As for the Merits Club, I look forward to watching how it turns out. I have a feeling you are in for quite a ride. My toon would love to help out, unfortunately the times specified are impossible to make. I have a feeling that what you are doing will grow very rapidly. I will check back frequently to monitor the run times. I'm betting there will be a lot of toons who want more (LOL).

For our first meeting only three showed up. Thanks Deputy Monty and Tanjess! I hope our next meeting will have more followers. Our second run Deputy Monty had to leave and we picked up some low laffers. I tried to warn them that we were doing a full run - oh well! One low laffer got bored half way and left us. Then we got split up in the pipe alley (sorry about that-I was talking to Deputy Monty). We did three runs all together. If we get more followers, we will add more times.

For all those that missed the morning run, we will be doing the afternoon run in gigglepoint. This morning we did two runs with success. The cogs didn't even know what hit them. A couple of toons earn their full merits, congrats Cody and Featherbee. We even took some flying lessons. We hope to see more toons. All is welcome even if you dont need merits, but need cogs. The only rule is that we do the entire factory. See you later.
