Danger of being small in VP?

Tonight we had a very bad run. One Toon Disconnected before the skele round (obviously out of their control). The 7 left were split so that two lower laff cogs were with a 100+ laff yellow duck on one side. By the time we finished our skelecog round the yellow duck was left alone facing level 11 and level 12 skelecogs. My three high laff companions joined her and that was fine. But that left only 5 of us for the pie round. This was my sons 67 laff toon (which is why I stood to the side and let the 100+ laffs take over). Unfortunately I realised too late that we didn't have the sound effects turned on; so we couldn't hear when a jump was about to happen. Anyway yellow duck was small...I was trying to find a place to toon her up, because she got hit a few times, and I hoped she would return the compliment...but our toon (a bit tall, which didn't help) just couldn't hit her...(unless our toon's back to VP, which is not a good position to be in, sound or no sound!) while running around we missed several jumps one after the other and was down to 14 laff then went sad...not complaining about anyones conduct...everyone was great and worked really hard...as soon as VP sat down we all pied as much as we could...I just think being small makes it difficult to toon up with pies?

I hope the others made it through especially the yellow duck. We are sorry we didn't manage to find the right spot.

My son was upset that his toon went sad, but training 3 doodles soon put that right, and thanks to the great beanfest on Monday he had plenty of beans to replace his gags...so thanks again to the CCG, we love you.

I had a similar, but non sad experience. My wife and both have toons that are small at the moment and we couldn't hit each other to toon up. I imagine you have to stand apart and throw low pies, but that probably takes twice as long.

That was my little duck, Little Ginger Nickelbee, and I really appreciate all the help my fellow toons (and ccger's) gave me with this run last night. You guys truly are wonderful!! Thank goodness for one of my SOS toon up cards before you all came to 'rescue' me. I was down to 40ish laff after my first lure failed (which is how the other toons got sad).

First off, I would like to thank you for trying to toon up my little duck (yes, I realize that it is difficult to toon up a small toon, sorry .) Secondly, I would like to apologize for not noticing your toon's laff points were low. I am very sorry about that.

As hard as I try to notice everybody's laff points, sometimes it is hard for me to do. I truly am sorry about that and will work on that. I am by no means a video game guru and try my hardest.

I am still very new to this game as I have only been playing for about two months, so alot is still new to me and I am still learning (I do read up on things to help me learn, but sometimes you have to play it to really 'get it'.)

Again, I am sorry for your son's toon and thanks again for attempting to toon up my duck. I am just sorry I wasn't able to get to him and toon him up before he went sad.

Thanks again for the CCG!! You are just awesome!!

My suggestions for tooning up with a small toon:

If you are the small toon - JUMP - thus elevating yourself as the pies come in, get on even ground if not upramp from the person trying to toon you.

If you are trying to toon a small toon - make sure you are at least on flat ground - no way you can toon if they are downramp from you. If you can do it - get them upramp from you - that's the best way to do it, but as in your case - without sound that can be dangerous.

Hi Nice to meet you...no problem at all...keep going this game is great fun and you get to play with some great team players...I too cannot manage to keep up with everything at once...watching other toon laff points, throwing pies, etc etc...you wait until you hit the CEO!!! Anyway it is only a game and going sad is not a real big deal...especially when you haven't got level 7 gags yet...I am just waiting in the pit to take my toon (109 purple Cat) on this mornings VP...now if she went sad I would have to regain all my level 7 gags...that is a pain.....I have the sound on this morning...LOL

Nice to meet you also.... Yes, I agree this game is great fun, which is why I have gotten to 104 lp in two months LOL. And as far as the CEO, I have been in the CFO only a few times and am not too keen on going in again . I tried craning (had no clue ) and am not much of a stomper), so felt like I was not contributing too much in the craning/stomping part. I just need more practice, I guess. I have not gained enough courage to fight the CEO or CJ yet. I agree it is a pain to lose the level 7's...good luck this morning!!

WOW! 2 months...I started playing this when my son was 4, he is now 8 and my cat is 109...4 yrs!!! (Well we didn't play very much to begin with...I got really hooked about a year ago). My son plays off and on...not nearly as much as me..to my husbands amusement!!! It has been interesting watching him learn how to play the game tactically...He can crane when we take the cat to the CFO...his toon can only do the VP as he doesn't have his cashbot suit yet. I cannot crane at all...absolutely hopeless. I think that learning to stomp is the best thing to start with...make sure you load with big, high cog suit toons...they know how to crane usually, they need stompers. Stick to one area during the battle...(protect your craner) and you will quickly learn to stomp....take the treasures as you learn...keep yourself from going sad. If you are with good craners the crane round can be over really quickly...it seems that in no time the goons turn from yellow to red....the VP and CFO are the best. I find the CJ boring. The CEO is a real challenge though.

You don't even need to stomp on the yellow goons, just run into the back of them...and if you run into the CFO it helps because he sits down for the craners.

There is lots of help on here.

Got through today with a great team...good fun.

Take Care
