Hooray for our soon to be GREAT craners!
I am so proud of all these wonderful people who signed up saying "I want to learn to crane...I want to help my team win!" The CCG runs will have more wins because of YOU!
NOW--I can do both, but I don't consider myself "expert enough" on the crane to give craning advice...however...about the actual battle: 1. Stay in your zone! Stompers protect your craner...leave treasures nearby that he can grab them! Many a CFO has been lost when toons paniced and started running around and around. Stay. 2. Now...if the reds flood one area...please move with your craner to the other side, until the area clears out some! 3. Craners..when those reds swarm....drop a safe on a group...don't worry more will come out later! 4. Stompers CAN jump into a group of 3 or more goons and survive..yes, even if they ARE red! You have like 3 seconds after you have been hit that you are INVINCABLE! Take advantage! I used to call this the "deadly dive" when I saw a toon jump into a group of reds...but then I realized HEY that toon survived! Hmmmm. 5. This is an opportunity to breath and look around during the battle. We do not very often get that chance. If you will read through the guides that Murky listed prior to going...it will eventually make sense! The guides are awesome and really do help! The most important thing I took away from my first training run (yes-I have done loads of them) was CONFIDENCE! The stompers who come out are mostly experts ... their ability to control the goons allows you the time to play up there on the cranes! Let's give them a big hand folks! Give yourself a big hand too! You are taking a step toward helping win every CFO you go into! Good luck and HAVE FUN!

It is a lot of fun to "leap into the heap" at the door. I've found that new craners do appreciate having the yellow goons wander over closer to them so the crane swing and magnet grab is a little easier. It's a bit more difficult for the stompers than getting them as they attempt to enter the room. If your craner is having difficulty getting a goon on the magnet, please let them get closer in their range so they can experience success. A room full of treasures looks like this.

Ooof, sorry Murky, I can't even put myself on back up this time as I know I'll be busy at that time on Saturday. I doubt the little guy will be willing to take a nap that early, just so I can play TT.
Hopefully next time .... have fun everyone, these runs are a blast and a great way to learn. And "Mosh Pit Stomping" is the best .... especially on a big pile of redhats! Yeah baby!

Woo Hoo!
I didn't think I could come to this! (We had previously planned to celebrate my son's birthday during this time, but that has been postponed.) My hubby, a terrific guy who just doesn't get my love of computer games, and just doesn't understand why I waste hours playing this child's game, had not really gotten anything for me for Mother's Day. I asked him if he wouldn't mind me attending this event as part of my gift. Yay!
Sign me up to practice craning! I am getting better, but would really appreciate a safe (no pun intended) time to practice more. Thank you! Susan Bringing my soon-to-be 105 laffer Crazy Soupy Gigglechomp P.S. If the stinky team is short, I could give that a try.... I'm not very stinky, but need practice at that, too! Teams are listed in the first post.
Team leaders will be pming the district and perhaps codes Saturday am. Please make sure there's space to receive pms. Stompers are still needed One stomper is still needed to complete team 1, but I'd be very happy to place 3 more stompers for tomorrow's runs. If anybody was waiting to see if they were needed or not...you are needed, yes you are!
