Twokool Kitty

I am SOOOO sorry that you went sad during the 3:00 est vp today.

I should have backed up your cake. I'm still not used to playing with ubers. I feel so bad. I know you're probably used to going sad, and take the chance being an uber, but I could have at least helped you through to the pie round.

Sorry sweetie! I hope to be able to see you through to a victory.

It's OK, speaking in the view of the kitty.

Many people don't have the training it takes to sometimes play with ubers. They are usually smart toons, so it does take some skill. Most of the time they play like normal toons, just with only 2-3 gag tracks assuming this was a VP uber. I try to help out the best I can with luring and toonups. Most of the time though, they can fend for themselves. But, if something goes wrong, they do need a helping hand.

Good luck in future runs.

Don't feel bad

Mistakes happen, gags miss, and then ubers go sad. It is part of the thrill and an understood part of being an uber. I have green'd my share of ubers. Keep playing and you get better.

Some toons (who will remain nameless) minipup consider it a point of pride to off an uber.

See ya in the boss battles

I happen to know the kitty in question, and Steve is a great guy who would never hold it against you. Whether people are used to playing with ubers or not, things happen. It quite honestly has as much to do with luck as it does with training or skill, so do not take it personally. In fact, except for certain guidelines which are traditional in the CCG VP runs, I don't think there is much "training" to be had. And when you've got as few laff as Kitty sports you're just a whisker away from the pg at any time. And ubers, from what my uber friends have said, do not want to be coddled, they want to play. He got on the elevator and took his shot--what more could a little cat ask for?

I do not think he would have wanted to be coddled, but I did want to do my best to get him to the pie round. As I stated, had I thrown a pie with him instead of squirting with my son (because he used up all HIS pie), he would have at least lasted another round.

Our lure was hitting every time and I was riding high on that and just figured my squirt wouldn't miss. That cog really wanted to send Kitty back to the playground, and he did with one swipe.

I do look forward to playing with him again, though. You ubers amaze me. You're a genius!

Hey Debbie- When I get on Kitty I figure I have about 20% of lasting past the first 2 rounds of cogs and about a 10% chance of lasting through first 2 skele rounds and about 95% chance of lasting through pie round. I'm going for the pie round. If I wanted better odds I would pick better elevator loads they are always available. I like boarding with a mix of suits and seeing if I can make it. TT does NOT like me very much. It has a tendency of even letting me make it to last cog before a gag or lure misses and I get sent to check my shoelaces. My only problem about taking Kitty is not being able to help you win when we get to the vp. Absolutely don't worry about sending me to the playground, I have done it myself on a number of occasions. There will always be that "what if I used?" type of scenario. Ex. What if I used my wedding cake. What was I saving it for? Gotta love this game. It's kind of like playing a game of chess. The only thing I ask out of this is that people try to do a good job and have fun. I'm busy having fun. See you in the pits and I would load with you anytime.
