The Lawbot boss is the Chief Justice. It's much harder than the CFO, although it has a difficulty system that makes it easier depending on the average suit level of the CJ'ers. A first time CJ'er should probably scale, although the lines between roles are less rigid than in the CFO. One can stun and scale as needed, although stunning should be left up to the more experienced people on your first time.
Just make sure to follow orders from more experienced people, and you'll do all right. The other piece of advice I can give you is to avoid damage. Asking for tu's all the time distracts others from doing their jobs. If you really need a tu, the area between the wall and the column at the near left end of the courtroom is a good place to hide where you can still see and stun the cogs. Also, don't go crazy giving other people tu's unless they really need them. Lastly, if you hear an alarm and the Chief Justice says, "You're all in contempt of court," he's about to do his jump attack. It's different from the VP's attack in that simply holding down the control key is not enough. You need to be in the air when he comes down or you'll still take damage. The reward is a cog summons. The ones you'll get at lower levels are practically useless, as they allow you to summon a Flunky or a Bottom Feder. The higher ones are useful for helping friends with toontasks, and the very highest ones allow you to summon cog invasions, which are useful for LBHQ and BBHQ's astronomical merit requirements. I hope this novel wasn't too much information, since I'm not even a CCG'er. lol Don't let anyone tell you that LBHQ is no fun, because I think it gets quite fun at higher levels. It's certainly got the best architecture. Last edited by Big Business; 04-28-2008 at 09:55 PM. |

Big Business, thanx for all that info! I have had a lot of toons tell me that they don't like the CJ... however, I am one that has to find out for myself.
So far, I love VP and CFO, can't decide which one I like more... and of course I've never done Bossbot HQ, I'm working on that suit now... Well, looks like I'll give this a try tomorrow... so any of you CCG'ers at the CJ tomorrow, if you see a scared lookin monkey called Freebyrd, be nice! lol Thanx again! ![]() |

CJ all the way!
I love battling the CJ. I can't hit the pan though. lol.
When I first started battling the CJ with my currently 110 laff pig I was lost also. But along the way I learned how it works. I first started hitting the pan. That didn't work for me because evidence flew at me like a speeding bullet. So I tried stunning the cogs. I LOVED stunning. It's quite simple. Pick 3 cogs, and stand in the one in the middle. Then start from either left and move to the right, or start on the right and move to the left. This is stunning between the 3 cogs. If 3 toons do this the other 5 can hit the scale. :] My pig is a Big Wig in the CJ, but only a Money Bags in the CFO. I love the CJ. I like it more than the VP and CFO. CEO and CJ are tied for my favorite. My sell uber is a Hollywood now. Once I max it I will get my boosts from the extras, and then start up tasks. Then max cash when I get the suit, then max law and bossbot together. :] I hope that helped somewhat. I usually end up not answering all the person questions. lol. Sorry if that didn't help any! |

I would agree scale first. Stunning is harder. With good cannon shooters and stunners the scale starts low and goes down fast. A good CJ can be done in 30 min. |

Somebody in an earlier post said the CJ was much harder than the CEO - I personally disagree completely. With even a modicum of teamwork, the CJ is always winnable. Unlike the CFO, where the goons come and attack you with -24 lights at the end and even the best toons can get hit with a swarm, the worst the CJ can get you with is a -10 for missing ajump, or a -5 for an evidence hit. Of course, I'm assuming you can avoid getting hit by a -20 gavel. All you have to do is pay attention and you won't get hit by those. Don't try to play with sound off though - unlike the VP where you can watch and jump when he does, you can't easily see the CJ and play at the same time, so you will miss the -10 jumps with sound off.
Moreover, you can get out of the way and easily toon someone up by throwing evidence at them. And if you have a few decent stunners, you'll get +10 bonuses every minute of the pie/pan round. Frankly, with teamwork, every boss is relatively easy. If you are going to the 1:30 EST CJ today, let me know and I'll watch out for you! Craig

Someone mentioned they were having trouble hitting the pan, so here are some suggestions. Early on, stand away from the pan and throw. A quick tap and release of the delete key normally hits the pan if you are in the right range. You will know you are hitting when the pan turns blue. Once you have the range, throw as fast as you can. As the pan goes down, move closer -- and avoid those gavels when you get evidence. It is a good idea to face the cog line so that you can see evidence coming at you. Jump when you see it, as you will then be able to avoid it.
