Another speedchat question
I had a long time non-secret friend I recently took to a CCG run. He and I had played together for at least 6 months; we helped each other max gags, etc. For whatever reason we had never gotten to be secret friends. He is an excellent team player, and I had taken him on CCG runs before, where he did great and we had a lot of fun. We had always been fortunate enough to get onto the same elevator before, so I wasn't prepared for the possibility that we wouldn't, but that's what happened at the last run we went to together. I got on the elevator, he did not. I believe and practice 100% the no elevator jumping rule, so I stayed on and left without him. I whispered "Sorry!" "Let's catch the next one," "Good Luck!" and "You are awesome!" as we were leaving. While in the first battle, he whispered "Bye!" to me, then left my friends' list. I am not sorry I stayed on the elevator, but it is upsetting that I lost such a long time friend. He obviously doesn't know about CCG (I can't find him on the list) so he probably thought I was just being mean staying on the elevator without him. I have seen him around since and I whisper "Hi" but he won't talk to me.
My question is, how do you explain, through speedchat, that you can't jump off the elevator at a CCG run? Or is losing a friend who doesn't understand just a risk you take in taking a non-CCG friend to a CCG run?
