Since I cannot post in test, I wanted to mention one strategy we have been using during the feeding portion of the CEO battle.
We pair up to work a table, one pair on a close table, one afar. Together we feed all the cogs at the table until they are destroyed before moving on to the next table. We have been able to get to as few as 12-20 Big Cheeses left over using this strategy. I am sure with the more experience we all get here, the better we will get and closer to leaving no Cheeses at the tables in the future. |

I looked at videos and screens of this battle. If there's one thing I have to say about it, it's that you have to be doing something at all times. In the CJ, you can get away with standing on the sides, maybe waiting for someone to go for evidence so you can take their place and do nothing for minutes. Every person is valueble in the battle from what I see. I like how you put that in the guide and it was well writen.

I've probably read the answer to this somewhere but forgotten it -
In which order does "fire a cog" play? After the other gags or before? Can you get rid of a V2 cog with other gags and then follow up with a pink slip firing or does the firing happen first?

Very nice guide!
Although, this tip could use some adjustment - "Use one fog and 3 elephants regardless of the cog size..." If there is a level 9 cog and 3 cogs you wouldn't be able to take out with adding the elephant trunk(ex. three level 12's), the best way to go is for one person to fog, two people to elephant trunk and one to cake(If your throw is organic) or piano the level 9 so it'll get taken outta the battle(That is if the level 9 is a Version 2.0 cog)... If you're in the situation of not having organic cake or a piano, then using the elephant trunk would probably be the best idea. Just a little hint that may help some people out. |

The 'firing' is first. If you are firing a V2 cog, the second cog does not come back. As it is now, all four toons can fire the same cog, as there is nothing showing which cog you are firing. (A big miss on Disneys part.)

From my experience, I wouldn't want to be confined to staying in the position I chose at first. I always move to where I'm needed most, or where I'll survive best, lol. I like to make sure there are 4 on the tees to start, since it slows the CEO, and then I like to do the battle with the water. The game is long and tedious right now if not many toons are getting in water hits, so the greatest need is often in the offensive table positions.
The tables with seltzers are the front lines. Here the toons do the damage that will bring the win. It's challenging to get a great hit in, and it's extra dangerous since the CEO often targets the close toons, or drives over their tables. This is where most toons suffer great laff damage. The golf tees are at the back of the room, they are easy to leave and rejoin, never geared, never in danger of tread damage, and not often targeted with a single golf ball swing. It's easy at this position to check the laff of the toons on the tables, and see the quantity of tune up on the conveyor belts. This is a great place for the beginner to start, it provides a view of the whole room, and usually only needs to hit exc key with the "fore" attack and step 2 or 3 steps out of the direct line of fire. This is where I like to go if the tune ups are needed by other toons, and my laff is around 30-40...and table seltzer has become too dangerous for me. I know I'll live to the end on the golf tee position, while still helping the team.

No adjustment
Quote:
If each toon uses one fog per round, we have a max of 12 rounds, although we run out of elephants before fogs. We adjust pretty easily to this, but it has been NO problem at all in the primary battle as yet. Try it. You might like the idea. Lion Heart

Example - The levels 12 - 12 - 12 - 9 all line up at the begining of the battle. You notice one person fogs and the other two pick elephant trunk. Well, if you sound, you're not gonna do much more to help the group, because adding an elephant trunk will only put 21(Plus a little bit of extra damage) onto the level 12's, which isn't really even needed, because you're most likely gonna sound again on the next turn, and with or without your elephant trunk, those level 12's are gonna die. So, if instead of using an elephant trunk in the begining of battle, you use a cake(organic) on the Version 2 level 9(Because, obviously once they do their one fog - two elephant trunks, the Version 2 cog will re-appear), you've just now removed that level 9 from battle, and are getting hit by one less cog. It's not really a big deal. I don't mind takin' an extra hit from a level 9 by any means, lol. I'm not worried about that at all, but I don't see why you shouldn't just kill that 9, since adding another elephant trunk doesn't really effect anything in that situation... You don't have to add this to your strategie. I just made the post to give a little tip. It's the way I've done it so far, and it seems to be an effective idea. |
