Can I put Alvin's driver's oar in the water here?? Run reporting is a time consuming affair. I do it for fun..I enjoy it. But I actually spend more time reporting than running. And I have all the sympathy in the world for those who would rather run than report (Does this sentence drips of BrrlGrll essence :-)?)
So, the one time I stumbled into a revenge run, I reported it, joyfully, in the ordinary thread for that day. Having a separate (did I spell that right?) thread would not, in my humble opinion, add anything to our reporting activity. However, I would like to propose an alternative. I propose that anyone who writes a report, whether it be a revenge or normal run, be awarded kudos such as...well, unending adoration, ceaseless attaboys, much congrats, nice pm's..oh wait..that is what I get now...hey guys..reporting has it's own rewards..thanks all..I just think we need to encourage reporting in any thread..perhaps money should be applied? I come cheap by the way.

And yet he wouldn't flirt with one of my boy toons the other day while he was perfectly happy to flirt with my girl toon standing right next to him. So I'm confused, did he not know that the boy toon was run by a girl, or does he only flirt with girl toons regardless of the gender of the pilot? Someone get him the number of a good shrink!

Alvin flirts with anything and everything that has long eyelashes. Me, his pilot, has a problem when I (the pilot) knows the long eyelashes hide an "other gendered" pilot. So I have to ride rough shod on Alvin when he lusts after Melody, and I boot him in the hams to get him to flirt with Familiar who really has long eyelashes and Right Turn Clyde and Ricky, and it is all your guys fault that he is confused..and in need of a shrink..

I don't think it is needed.

I will say I think understand your reason, to 'showcase' those that help above the regular run...at least that is what I get from your first post.

Those that run in a revenge run do it to help, not to see their name posted they did something nice. They are in the CCG to help, not to see their name posted. Also, not sure the folks running the ubers would feel a need to have all the revenge runs posted, so the entire world can see just how it is to risky for them.

Revenge run or not, it is still a CCG run and should be put in the daily thread. You asked for an ambassadors thoughts, so there you go.

I just want to commend you on trying to acknowledge the many people that offer revenge runs. Most just like to make the runs to help others out. That is one of the best parts of the game. I probably have a 25% win ratio with Twokool Kitty (15 Laffer) and probably only 40% with Chasen Kats (25 laffer). With all the gag and lure misses going on these days. While I love the revenge runs I don't want the players to have to report the runs. I am a well intentioned hopeless reporter. I take the screen shots during the game. I do my reporting at work. The problem is my home computer has the screenshots and work computer doesn't. I can't seem to report my runs much less expect someone else to do it. I really do need to get better. I enjoy reading the reports but just can't seem to get them written.

Anyway I'm rambling . Thanks again for trying to acknowledge the many great toons that offer revenge runs often at the expense of the next boss they really wanted to play. Have fun.

The more I thought about it, the more I liked the idea of a "Revenge Runs" thread, and here is why. Far too many runs go unreported even when there is an official thread for them. I think almost all of the revenge runs go unreported because it is all to easy to just think, well...no place to post this..so hehehe..I get to be a slacker and not post. If we had a Revenge Run thread, that would take away one excuse for non-reporting. If that act resulted in even 10% of the revenge runs getting reported, that would be a good thing. So, all joking aside, after all Skinny Biscuit was serious about this, I vote yes..let's try a Revenge Run Thread and see what happens.

To me what makes a revenge special is that it is just one or more toons that see someone sad and want to help. It is a wonderful spontanious thing! No planning required...

To me the "honor" should be in the doing....no report required!

And a big thanks to Zig for speaking for a "higher up" and I would like to say, my thoughts exactly.

Another thanks to Frosti for bringing up the fact that then everyone would be EXPECTING us to do them. Personally, I don't feel like revenging sometimes and would like to carry on to the next battle. Especially if it's CFO. I don't want to feel pressured (I probably wouldn't) from all the "revenge" requests if a new thread is created and would probably more than likely ignore the thread b/c we KNOW it wouldn't just be a thread for reporting runs now would it?If I don't feel like revenging, I don't want people moaning b/c they didn't get a revenge run in and we as a whole entire group were mean to them.

So...just hang out by the lamp post. We might and we might not feel like it at the time. The choice is ours. And remember, there are other scheduled times you can go again. Have fun!

I am aware that it is something you do on the spot. Like I said before, I didnt mean to make it a thread for toons to brag, or be an honor thing. Just a place to post them, nothing more. It would be just like a regular run report with just adding who the revenge run was for. (Thanks Alvin for backing me up)

So, If a few more people think it would be a good idea, I will see if I can get atleast one embassador to aprove the idea and I will make the thread. If people dont use it well then I guess that is that.
