That's funny because I was thinking the same thing the other day!

Okay I will be the first to response and I will not stink you becasue this is the wrong thread for that...HAHA!!! IMO opinion yes they have gotten a tad more challenging. VP ghosts jumps and that dang CFO sending out the swarms of Reds that are uncontrollable. I can attest to that after going sad along with most of my teamates last night. Didn't get us down, just dusted ourselves off and went right back. I guess TT is just trying to make things a little more challenging for us. No other explaination for it along with the ever increasing percentage of lures and sounds missing these days.

For crying out loud! One boss at a time. Focus! Once we get the VP down pat, Right Turn Clyde would like you to be his escort in the CFO. As for the CJ, well... you're on your own girl! All kidding aside, not sure. If I could find all my necessary "wireless" junk so that I could get back online, I could give my input but I can't, so I'm going to do my best to have fun reading the threads. I must say, they've been quite entertaining to say the least.

There seems to be a lot more missed lures in the boss battles, even Clerk Penny's which hit as well as planted lures. My presentation has missed once in the last 2 days. My toontanic boat has missed the last 2 times in boss and it takes me close to a week to get one of those since I rarely use drop, and an opera missed the other day for me.
The VP is jumping more once he starts to get rolling along the doors seem to stay closed. He is still my favorite fight since he is the easiest IMO. As for the safes on the CFO's head that is your concern I just stomp away. Seriously, I hadn't noticed that but I think that the yellow and orange goons aren't coming out as often leaving fewer goons to hit the CFO with at the earlier levels of the fight and that may lead to more safes on the head because I think the safe drops from the ceiling on a time interval. The red swarm is more than usual because it seems like both sides are getting hit pretty heavy. As for the CJ, I notice that there is some irregularities on the stun bonus. Some runs there is no bonus given for the whole fight even though there are times when all cogs are stunned at once. No stun bonus can mean that some time is taken away from the fight to toon each other up.

What I've noticed is that in the VP there are many more level 11 and 12 cogs in the COG round than there used to be. We always expected a 12 to come out first, but I've recently faced an entire row of 11's and a 12 in the opening round. Only a couple months ago it seemed we didn't have near the number of large cogs in the first rounds, mostly medium and small level cogs. Used to be mostly skels that were troublesome. Or perhaps age and senility has set in for me also. *sighs*

Yep, this is what I was thinking too. I started a thread that sort of asked this question in a round-about way. I guess I was just looking for others to confirm what I thought - that it was a little harder...more jumps, more missed gags, etc. Too chicken to come out and admit things seemed tougher to me. But I'm glad someone else noticed too!

Ok, about the VP-- I'm a front stunner, working from the VP's front left tread (as you look at him). There for a while, I could stun like crazy, throwing pies in as soon as the door opened, stepping back, driving him back, then repeat. But in my last few VP's it seems like the angle of the gears that fly out of the door has changed. I swear I'm standing in the exact same place to stun, but now every time the door opens I'm getting pelted with gears. Has the angle of the gears coming out of the VP's front door changed? Or am I just going completely crazy??

![]() I have definitely noticed the Lure & Organic lure missing more often, both in and out of boss battles. I can't really comment on the other gags, as most often the cogs are lured. I would not say the VP is any "jumpier", nor has the CFO gotten any tougher.

When I was visiting the Toontown development staff, I heard some one say Toontown decided to make the VP more jumpy, lure miss, sound go deaf, Titantic sink and more level 12's show up because they think there are too many ubers and the uber-only runs are defeating the VP too much. <wink>
