How can I ever hold a conversation with Clerk Penny if she is always working? I try to talk to her but someone always interrupts me or Clerk Lenny justs stares and listens in on the conversation. The only time I see her outside the gag office is when she is caged by the VP and then she is so stressed she just wants to go back to work. These clerks need to have a life outside the gag shop, I guess the same could be said for the fishermen as well.
We will continue to keep Penny away from you SWO! Look how she flirts with everyone! I heard she was seeing LOM......but believe what you will. I'm just telling you as a friend! rofl

A few days ago, during a CCG VP run, I ended up with a blue mouse who came in with 6/47 laff. Naturally he (according to clothes) was on my side the first round. "I need a toonup" was out of his mouth before the first cog left the hatch. During the first round, he never attacked and apparently was the one not using the "Pass" button, since every round went down to 0. His entire contribution was "I need a toonup" every time he took a laff hit.

Between rounds, I checked this toon: he had no (and I mean zero) gags. Naturally, I was paired with him in the second round, as well. If it hadn't been a CCG, I would have gone out of my way to try to send him back to the playground. As it is, that wasn't permitted. Fortunately, there were six high-laffers out of the eight, and we managed to get through both rounds with all eight.

During the pie fight, this little git stood well out of the way (I know that because I was stunning the VP from the rear), never firing a pie. When the VP short-jumped (costing everybody 10 laff), he shouted for help, raced down to the others, and got in front of anybody he could to get pie-tooned back to full health. Once fully healed, he raced back up to the cage and stood there. Again, we had more than enough experienced VP'ers to finish the pie fight quickly without his help.

I know that we're obligated to get everybody through the CCG run, but if there was ever an exception to that, this git would be at the head of the line.
I had a similar experience last week. A toon came in at 1/56 laff with NO gags saying "I need a toon-up". I was on my 15 laffer, so obviously I didn't tu him. I was actually a bit disappointed that someone else did. CCG run or not, big toon or little, my response would have been the same - nice doodle.

While I would never try to make a toon turn green (bike on big cogs, etc.), there are definitely times where I won't do everything in my power to keep a toon alive. This is definitely one of those circumstances. Heck, it's not like he's even losing beans since he had no gags to start with.

I know I have already posted my allotted one complaint of the day, okay yes it was two but now I have another one. It is my day to drive carpool in rush hour traffic. How dare this happen when all I want to do is sit here and read how nasty we all are. Life can be so cruel

Well yeah. Why do you think I'm charging $110 for a roll of duct tape and a broomstick and making you throw in my beverage of choice?

So which is it?

I've been reading through the complaints about how HW's dont rush on the elevator and help out in the earlier runs and knowing I haven't been the most supportive CCG member, I decided to try and help out more by coming to the vp runs and trying to board early for those that go early.

So at this afternoons vp I got inside the lobby and what appeared to be the first group left. The second group filled up with a few mixed suits and some HW's. One HW got off and not wanting to be one of the HW's complained about so much here, I rushed on to fill the spot. As the doors were closing I got two "That wasn't nice!" whispers, one from a CCG member I recognize.

So I'm confused. What did I do that wasn't nice? Am I to stand back and give small suits priority? That's what I used to do, but so many complaint threads here made me rethink that. I hear so many complaints about the HW's not boarding on the early runs that I figured I'd make people happy by boarding.

So, which is it? What do you want me to do? I honestly meant no harm.

Well you did what you were supposed to do and pack on the elevator! I don't understand why someone would whisper that to you unless they meant to whisper that to the jumper that got off but even so I never whisper negative things to anyone unless its all in good fun!

Wow. I think I was there. I saw a Holly get off the elevator saying, "Sorry, I'm helping a friend!" My finger was no where near the F9 button, and the speech bubble went away before I had a chance to get a screenie.

Someone filled in (didn't pay attention to the suit, but it was probably you), and I thought to myself, "Yes. That is what the CCG is supposed to do."

Weird that someone said that wasn't nice. Boy, I don't want to get to Hollywood if I have to worry about not packing on. Is someone going to get mad at me if I go on instead of letting someone else get on who is going for a promotion (which I can't tell who that might be from their suit and level! I'm too new)? The only time I wouldn't pack on is if there were nine toons left and I was a HW50. Let the 8 go who need to go. I'd catch the next run. (So it will be a while before I'm a HW50. Just sayin'.)

Hopefully their finger slipped, and they meant to say it to someone else....

Just pack on! Good job!

My complaint.... hmm.... my complaint is that it is too hard to think of one. There.

Hey!

I want to register a complaint about people having attitudes about ducks. How can people discriminate against ducks in the 21st century. I thought we were beyond this. Harumph!

In particular, there's this one 16 laffer that stinks Solitude all the time when I tell her Sorry, I can't. I need to make a friend, I haven't found it yet .

Phew! She must be referring to that stinky lil duck and not my sweet innocent lil bunny!

I have no clue why someone would say it wasn't nice when you filled the elevator. I'm hoping that it was a mistake and the person clicked on the wrong toon. Please feel free to send a PM to one of the Ambassadors with information if you want to.

Thanks for filling the elevator.

And now back to your regularly scheduled complaints ...

That is the RL Ricky, he's wearing a mask (made by one of the kids at school) to protect his identity.
